Terran Task Force Warp Core - Power levels minimal increasing over time

This is happening on my main: Vulcan, Female, Federation, Science Officer flying an Icarus Sci Pilot Escort.

I’m using a “Terran Task Force Quantum Capacitor Warp Core”, fully gilded, so it has [AMP] and [W->S].

I’m having problems with power levels not increasing like they used to. By this I mean that the description reads:

Terran Task Force Quantum Capacitor Warp Core

+0-5 additional Subsystem Power
+0-5 Maximum Subsystem Power
(Allows each Subsystem Power to exceed 125, power levels increase over time in combat)

The problem I’m experiencing is that levels are no longer increasing above a certain amount, over time, when in combat for extended periods.

To clarify, obviously, each system goes up when I enter combat space in Attack Mode. However, while I will see increases in levels, over time. They only increase by maybe 10 points or so, to each subsystem, and that’s it. None of the subsystem power levels increase anywhere near to 100, at all, especially, over time. So, while I can get weapon power up to 130 points, my shields, engines and auxiliary don't increase, even for the long periods of combat. Yet, even with [W->S] to shields, I should be able to go from 71, and over time, increase 100-ish, or better, not the case, as is with Engines and Aux experiencing similar issues. So, they all just fluctuate around around 10 points more, or so, and then fluctuate a little around that state. It no longer climbs up to the time spent in combat, at all. Mind you, this is only happening to my main, my Romulan is using a similar build, but her levels go up, and she’s not even using the TTFWC.

I do realize we have to expect nerfing, but the Terran Task Force Warp Core is not living up to the description that stipulates (Allows each Subsystem Power to exceed 125, power levels increase over time in combat) and since I’m a Sci Pilot captain, power levels that build up are what I’m after. I don’t mind having to pace my build up, but this is an issue when considering the way the TTFWC used to work.

Yes and no..i have the same core, the maxium is +5 per subsysten, but it increases your max attainable level to more than 125 if you have power surplus, but that's the level cap, not the power that the core gives you.
For example, if you have a lot of consoles giving you +wpr, and your base power for weapons is, lets say 125, you will be able to get 130 or more, but as i say, thats the power cap, not the amount that the core gives you.
I dont know if the core can interact with the power dynamo, as i havent paid attention to that, but that console is better that that core, or you can have both.

I forgot to mention that along TTFWC, I have a Plasmonic Leech, which enables much more than +5 per subsystem. The problem seems to me that I used to get the levels up, at a much faster pace. So, now, when I'm in combat for an extended period of time, it doesn't seem to levels as I've had before. Power Dynamo was great, at first, and now it just seems useless for me.
