This thread is to see what I have missed with these TFOs that have been happening over the past few months.
I have participated in every TFO run. I did not complete the first, which awarded that Pahvan Crystal. I did however complete every other one up to and including Arena of Sompek (earning Lorca’s Jacket, the Satellite turret, the Mine, and the Discovery Rifle). My understanding was that these TFOs built up to a T6 ship coupon for a ship of choice.
Now I am trying to make sense of what happened guessing the following:
A. I qualify for the coupon but have not figured out how to redeem it;
B. I did not qualify for the coupon, having failed to complete all of the TFO runs (missing 1 of 5); or
C. They have delayed that promotion for later or scrapped it altogether for the new Mycelial challenge(s), offering the T6 Elachi Frigate as a consolation award.
IF you took part in the qualifying TFO's for the Coupon earlier in the year your progress was saved and is viewable in the Rep Store Events Tab. Redeeming upon completion is done by the same tab. If you didn't complete the required number of coupons then a Buyout option is available, again in the same tab. Which events you took part in was practically irrelevant, it was the number of completions that mattered. They did not scrap the coupon for those that had partial completion.
The Elachi Ship was a completely seperate event and did not count towards the T6 Coupon.
The current Event is also a different event and has it's own T6 Coupon, and therefore does not count towards old progress.

This certainly answers my question... in part. The problem for me (ps4 user) is that the Event menus have been completely renovated and are not squaring with the rest of your comment.
The EVENTS tab yields 3 submenus:
- MYCELIAL CRISIS - FEATURED - SEASONAL
Both featured and seasonal state “no events are currently available...”
Below, all 3 submenus have a “Second Chance” and “Reclaim Rewards“ button
Second Chance is grayed-out and inaccessible.
Reclaim Rewards gives the old “Ships/Space Equip/Ground Equip/Misc sub-options. There is no such coupon in any of these places nor is there a display of progress/buyout option. It simply does not exist.
I should also point out that there is no apparent option in the Z-store either. Prior to the Mycelial Crisis EVENTS redesign, A TFO “in progress” gave you a buyout option in the Z Store...for that TFO only. Once a new TFO came online, there was no option to buyout/second chance the previous one(s). Now that they redesigned the EVENTS menu, you cannot even purchase the currently-running Mycelial Crisis TFO credits. That must now be accomplished through the Buyout Button in the Mycelial Crisis submenu of the EVENTS tab.
Mycelial Crisis was (PC)/is (Consoles) the inaugural event for the new Event System.
Future Event TFOs will appear under the Featured tab.
Summer, Winter, etc. will appear under the Seasonal tab.
When the next T6 Coupon meta-event occurs, you'll see an Event Campaign tab that tracks progress for the campaign.
Daily progress is tracked based on your participation. The Zen buyout option scales down based on your participation if you don't fill the progress bar. If you fill the progress bar, you claim the reward for free. Further participation awards Dilithium that increases by 2500 each day up to 25,000 Dilithium per day.
Unfinished event rewards will move to the Second Chance store after the event ends.
The very first T6 Coupon event will soon have a buyout option, but has not been implemented.

The Consoles did not get the first T6 Coupon event unfortunately, so you wouldn't have any of the options I named.

No intention to shoot (address this to) the messenger, but if I have understood this correctly for the Discovery Series TFOs events (and perhaps I didn’t) then this is complete and total Bull-TRIBBLE.
STO has been in development with consoles for YEARS now... this is not some teething/transitioning issue in the first months of the console release. If there is a development or licensing problem with PS/Playstore, then there is zero reason why this should not have been clearly announced from the start.
If it takes time for us to catch up to PC, release/award dates, fine... but this Neutered console gameplay BS has worn thin to unacceptable by this point. $1 buys the same damned amount of Zen regardless of what the game is played on.
Oh! That's right. The T6 Coupon was never implemented for Consoles. It has nothing to do with development. It was to do with Xbox/PlayStation not letting it happen because they don't want to miss out on their share of those sales dollars. Yes, $1 buys the same amount of Zen regardless of which platform you're on, but on Console, Xbox/PlayStation gets part of that $1, so they have a say in whether stuff gets given away or not. If you're not happy about that, your ire needs to be directed at them, not Cryptic. Cryptic is working on something for Console players, though, but it hasn't been announced.

As I said before, there may be a development OR licensing issue with Playstation/Playstore, but Arc/Cryptic WOULD know the issue and the onus to disclose the console/PS4 exclusion from day 1.
It is fraudulent to announce a participatory giveaway with real money sales for “buyouts” or “second-chances” throughout a 5 Event campaign (where a player spends actual money in hopes of keep/catch up for an announced prize) when both parties know the player on console is ineligible from the start.
Cryptic ALSO receives money from those PS transactions and as such has a duty to inform its players BEFOREHAND when such real money transactions do not yield the expected results they bargained for when spending actual money.

They did not announce the buyout option till well after the PC event closed, so your comment has no merit, especially as the first event did not feature on the consoles, and they did not mention once consoles would get a buyout option for the first event. Cryptic is under NO obligation to release ANY data on sales and there is no law that dictates that sort of action. Under the terms of the EULA Cryptic can pull events at their discretion, and due to the way Sony and MS operate their Store, this happens from time to time. There was no fraud committed as no money would have changed hands. It was also only a 3 event campaign that was only available on the PC and never even made to the Consoles.

This point makes no sense. If cryptic announces a T6 giveaway through a TFO campaign and fails to inform console players of their ineligibility BEFORE offering console TFO buyouts then PC activity is moot.
>Cryptic is under NO obligation to release ANY data on sales and there is no law that dictates that sort of action. Under the scenario I described, this is false. There have been 5 Discovery TFO Event Campaigns on console in which players were offered buyout options for each TFO campaign from the C-store. There was no announcement that console players were ineligible, thus ANY money for buyouts from console players made on the basis of keeping up progress for the sake of earning the announced T6 coupon (cryptic never informed them of their ineligibility) is fraud in the inducement, PERIOD.
I have repeated these “facts” about how I have encountered/understood this event campaign at least twice in this thread. If these are “”facts” are incorrect, then there may be a different set of circumstances to interpret, however nobody has corrected the record in this thread.
>It was also only a 3 event campaign that was only available on the PC and never even made to the Consoles.>
I have no idea where this came from and/or when or how it was announced. My understanding of the TFO campaign (conducted between Pahvan crystal and Guerella Armor TFOs on console was the T6 coupon was made without distinction. If somebody can point out when and where this was pre-announced, fine... different set of circumstances. However nobody has, and for that matter, TFO campaigns (to my knowledge) are NOT conducted separately between platforms. For example, the Mycelial Crisis Elachi campaign is live NOW for all.., not live NOW for PS4 and had been pre-released to console in say, September, 2019.

You appear to be mightly confused. Currently on Console, under Star Trek Online Awakening, there is only ONE TFO Campaign, which involves a choice of doing the Episode (45 pts), TFO (30 pts), Choice of 5 DSC Patrols (15 pts each.). It has a valid buyout option in the Events tab in your menu NOT the C-Store. This event has already finished on PC.
The T6 C-Store Coupon Event NEVER made it to Console!!! The event it featured in on the PC was a 3 event campaign, and it was apparently blocked by Sony/MS from making an appearance on the Consoles. The UI was never implemented so you never once saw ANY progress made. Not one Buyout option in the C-Stores mentioned progress going toward a Free T6 Coupon and it Kael explained why it never made it to Console in a livestream about 3 months ago.

First of all, the original "buy 10 tokens" option was always meant to be for those individuals who were, through some reason or another, unable to complete the event while it was running. That buyout method was always meant for that particular event at the time.
The new buyout method scales according to participation. Players have the option to buyout the entirety of the event at anytime, including at the very beginning. Again, this is just for that one event.
The Mycelial Crisis event reward is a T6 ship. Console players are eligible for this ship. Players can choose to buyout the ship or participate fully and get it for free. Specific ships awarded through these type events (Summer, Winter, Anniversary) have never been excluded to Console players.
The only thing excluded to Console players at this time is the T6 Coupon which allows players to choose any T6 ship from the C-Store. There is nothing fraudulent involved as the T6 coupon was never advertised or offered to Console players. The buyouts were always for the individual Event rewards.
I will state now, since you seem to need it spelled out, you have misunderstood the facts of how these events are working on Console.

In fairness, it was and even appeared in Console News tabs as 'Coming Soon', but it was pulled before going live. As I said earlier, the UI was never implemented, so no-one on either Console would have made any progress towards one.

Exactly. And the devs have expressed more than once on livestreams that Console wasn't getting the T6 Coupon, and the initial announcement was before the first event went live there. But they are still looking at what they can do for Console in lieu of the T6 Coupon.

Since the first T6 event was for PC, and was only for PC, a scaling buy out coupon on PS4 would cost you $60 for a $30 T6 token.
Unless you can post a link to an official posting from Cryptic that says "this event will earn progress towards a T6 ship token for PS4 players" of course.
