How do you refine more than 8K in dilithium per day?

I've been told you can refine more than 8000 dilithium per day. Is this true? I saw something about constructing additional pylons, but frankly I am not sure what that is referring to. So does anyone know how to refine more than the 8K and if so, how is it done? Thanks

    500 per day at the Fleet Dil Mine, and 1000 per 48 hours from specific Officers on your Fed/KDF homeworld if you are a Lifetime Sub.

    it means make more characters, the 8k limit is per character so more characters means more dil per day.


    if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

    If you are Fed-aligned the NPC that gives you that 1000 every two day 5 second assignment is right to the left coming out of the Bank/Bar Building at Starfleet Academy.

    You have to go to the Fleet Mine and speak to the NPC to get the Daily 500 refinement 5 second assignment.

    9000 per day is the max max for a Character with these two additional Assignments.

    And even doing a "minimal effort" run (queuing up a set of DOFF & Admiralty missions once a day) on my 11 alts, that's still 3k+ per alt/30-40k per day.


    Of course, it helps to have been playing awhile, so that not only do you have a bunch of leveled alts, you have a decent collection of Admiralty ships.

    Lifetime subs will also automatically refine up to an entire weeks worth of dilithium upon the first login for a week or something like that, though it's super buggy and doesn't care if you have 1 dilithium or 100 thousand dilithium. It can be nice when you havent played in a while on a certain toon and log in to find it well stocked with dil again

    Up to about fifty-thousand dilithium per character will be refined automatically if you go a week without logging on that account. If you skip a few days, that number of days times 8000 will be refined automatically. That's if you're LTS. It used to be that I would do something such as 18 plus runs of The Breach, Crystalline Cataclysm, Mirror Universe a day, once per character. When the event project was filled up, I'd collect the reward on each pylon, then go a week without logging in, and consolidate all of that. I still have unfinished projects from before the event changes kicked in, so if those do auto-complete, that will be a nice influx to gobble. I'd like for Cryptic to fix that before Black Friday comes around.

    no. if you have 100,000 dil ore and you do not log in to a toon for a month, it will still only refine 8K when you log in
