Is there a way to survive an attack by your opposing faction in the Ker'rat War Zone?

I really enjoy the Ker'rat War Zone, for the game and it's a great way to level...but I am invariably attacked the second I arrive and blown out of the water, no matter the ship or build. I don't know what these guys use, but they absolutely slice me to shreds!

I was wondering if there's such a thing as a "Ker'rat build" to match or just survive against the people there?

    Cloaking is a decent way to help stay alive. Switch instances to less populated map. Destroy your enemy first.

    I was pleasantly surprised to see it back, just enter it on a whim just last week. But I see that I will not be able to complete the accolades for it. It seems stripped down...
