Warp Shadow Decoy Trait Not Doing Anything

I used my free ship token to purchase the Aelahl warbird to get access to the Warp Shadow Decoy trait for my Cardassian flying the Voth Rampart with the Voth battle cloak. When I cloak the trait doesn't do anything. Did I throw away my free ship token?

does it work with a rom cloak? then the voth cloak is a different teck!

I don't know. It says cloak, not romulan cloak. Other cloaking traits are working with it.

Barf. I used that free ship token to get this ship just for the trait to use on a specific character for a specific ship for a fun gimmick, but I might as well have deleted the token instead.
