It would be more useful on Holodeck as well as tribble and red shirt.
They made it quite clear it's in a testing phase, and that there is no guarantee it will make it to Holodeck. Patience is your ally here.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Uhhhh, one thing i know for certain is the a portion of the STO community isnt exactly know for its patience
Also, as someone mentioned before, they need to fix the testing area so it cannot be used as a one-stop shop for endeavors. Its possible they will even disable the ability to get points for killing NPCs. Otherwise it would just become a specialization point farming zone.
The plan is to bring it to holodeck at some point. they said there was still issues that needed to be resolved first however. Also believe me when I say you don't want it coming to holodeck just yet. Myself and crew of test monkeys have been trying to weed out as many bugs as possible. The map definitely has potential, but needs to be refined a bit first. Let's just say there's certain bugs that you do NOT want hitting holodeck as one of them in particular makes Korfez in shuttles look tame.
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again." - Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek Generations

You mean the double difficulty bug?
Sounds interesting.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

When you unpack that it simply means the system is applying the difficulty twice, so if I remember correctly how Timberwolf explained it, if you got your base difficulty set at "elite" a normal difficulty encounter would be the equilevant of an advanced one and advanced and elite get similar boosts effective becoming advanced+ and elite+ difficulty levels that harder then default ones.

Having tried it several times I assume they want to polish it first and make sure there isnt any ways to exploit its existence too
