Singularity cores for (non-Rom) Feds

nccmarknccmark Member Posts: 1,084 Arc User
I just bought the new temporal 4 pack. My main Fed was first to open the pack. Glad to try out a warbird with him.
But the mk x common core is crud. Not sure I wanna spend game resources on a better singularity core for one ship quite yet.

Was thinking that the Kobali Samsar came with a free warp core and singularity core years ago, so I'll just grab that Very Rare Mk XII freebie and use that......nope. Still can't grab that even though now non-Roms can use (at least one) warbird. small grrs

So, when can I grab that free core devs?????????

We used to be able to buy reputation singularity cores as a FED and as a standard KDF but that feature was removed a while ago. I happen to have a few rep singularity cores still sitting around on my FED as I had a sick fascination with collecting EVERYTHING. AFAIK, you could never acquire the Kobali singularity core as a FED but a ROM still can acquire both the warp core AND singularity core. I don't think anything was changed in that regard.

In any case, you're probably best off trying to buy a fleet spire singularity core. It's relatively cheap and easy to acquire even if you aren't in a fleet or have a newer fleet. Just ask around in the NoP Public Service Channel and someone will help you out.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    Can you craft singularity cores?
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

Cryoplasma-Infused Singularity Core from the Winter Store?

how about give access to the bajoran Singularity core from the set ?

All that is fine, and really getting one from rep isn't all that expensive, I just don't wanna use the dil or the uber-currencies for something I might not use for long. Free & Very Rare is better than Free & Common, hence wondering why this wasn't addressed already.

And yeah, even the Bajoran Singularity Core would be OK if that worked either.
I have account access to those freebies, just not Fed toon access.
Something to be fixed, I hope.

Just go to the exchange and get some cheap, regular Singularity Core. No need to spend dilithium, fleet credits, etc. on a better Sing.Core unless you feel real serious about it later.

I'll get one of mine to craft you one and send it to you, if you want. No charge.

field stabilizing, hyper injection, overcharged, plasma-integrated or thoron-infused?

The Singularity Core from the mission The Melting Pot can be claimed by feds. Easy mission, free core.. boom, done.
