Why is it when I am on Colony surface and choosing to change character it says that toon is on Dranuur but when I actually log in I am at Risa space. I also have a 5 minute CD on transwarp. When Risa is not active I return to Earth.
Am I the only luck recipient of this. Is there a workaround? I'm doing luxury provisions daily across all toons and this is a major pita. Thanks for your time.
It's the same for logging out at any Fleet holding: you'll wind up back in sector space, when you come back in. Unless, iirc, you log in again real fast thereafter: there seems to be a small window where it remembers your precise last location (like when getting disconnected in a TFO).
Anytime you Transwarp to a Fleet Holding you will end up back where you started that chain when you Return to Sector. When you log out you will end up where you started as above.
There are two exceptions. If you fly up to a Fleet Holding and enter you will end up back where you entered when you Return to Sector or when you log out and back in from wherever you are in the Fleet network.
The other exception is an actual way of breaking out of the Fleet Network. This one involves the Fleet Embassy. If you go there through the Fleet Network. Leave the Embassy Building into the Staging Area on New Romulus and take the New Romulus Transport network to any other New Romulus area (even Staging), you have broken the cycle and may beam up to New Romulus orbit and then can go anywhere as normal.

I think it's based on the instance despawning. IE until the holding instance despawns it'll put you back there.

Yep, that’s how it works.
It’s even possible for a fleet mate of the OP to generate a new instance of the colony hours or days after he logs off there in order to re-enter it upon logging.
