I'm having this issue too. Got disconnected when I tried to transwarp to Drannur and this was the error I got. I tried to force verify to see if it was something on my end but that didn't work.
Um I did check my internet connection first LOL working as intended.
Game is not I get the same error as listed above: Refresh account data failed: Internal error !
I sent in a support ticket in case it takes time for someone to notice this on forums.
Same here. I was logged in with my first toon after the maintenance and when I wanted to switch to another one I got booted and then received the error message.

I contacted support, it would appear that engineering is aware of the problem and Scotty is well into fixing it. They will let us know once the problem has been rectified.
Mine was working fine till just a few minutes ago. Sorry to say this but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue and that it's not my computer doing it
I use the game launcher directly and was getting the same..But in game its been really bad with the rubberbanding and lag..There is something really wrong happening at the Akami Tech IP where the latency doubles and increases al the way to the cryptic server..
I can't even get the launcher to run, it just has a timeout and says connection to the patch server cannot be established.
Is there some major issue with the servers just now? Seems to be a lot of people having serious connectivity problems.
Been unplayable since early July. I last between 5 seconds and 5 minutes before getting kicked out say the connection tor the server timed out. Contacted support and all they could tell me is that it is a bug and they didn't have a fix for it. They just told me to post it here.
I only have 2 more days to get the ship. Need to get in this morning, cant login? Only have an hour to get this done.

I was beginning to wonder if it was just me, been having this error for half an hour and came here thinking I would see tons of posts about it but did not. Thank you pentars for confirming that I am not the only one with this issue. Sure hope they figure it out soon though. I wanted to play a little before game goes down for maintenance.

The window that pops up right before the Character Selection Screen will appear and then I get the error message as shown in the post above.
A few seconds later, I get the login screen as if I had just logged out of the game.

Have you tried going through the launcher instead and not using Arc to get to the game? Thanks.
