Maybe at some point, PWE could give us a "Home Run Challenge" Holosuite program or something? At least we would have somewhat of a reason to have so many. More creative teams would be more welcome as well. How about a race around the planet in lower atmosphere with the new Corvette's for next year? Toss in a NASCAR nod about only turning left for the accolade and it could be fun. To capitalize on something different, let us slot the party horns of years present and past as a horn on the new Risan Corvette's.

Suggestion for a mini-game: Whack a Sand Worm! In an unused stretch of beach, have random worms pop up that needs to be whacked with mallet provided by a nearby representative of the Lobi Crystal Constortium. Accolades for doing so works towards a tank top with 'Whack-a-Sand-Worm!" printed on the back, and a picture of a stick figure whacking the aforementioned sand worm.
Keep the console as you don't know if it will be of use with the T6. Just my advice.
If they follow the same formula they used for the Plesh Brek and Chel Grett... it will have an enhanced version of the console that adds a passive on top of the clicky power so the console is a bit more useful.
We've seen them update past event ships to T6 in the past. No reason to expect them to deviate now.
The audio emotes might be quirky fun. It will definitely be a different type of emote. The themed-skins displayed are a really neat idea. Isn't it just a vanity shield? I wonder if these skins will be just for this Risian Corvette or able to be applied to all starships? It will also be neat to see what the "explosive" versions of the hoverboards & jetpacks mean & will do if anything.
The only concern I have now is yesterday in in-game chat a player stated that supposedly Cryptic is releasing a standard version of this Risian Corvette for the participating ship then selling a premium version, but how or where this information came from was never revealed.
I have a general rule that tells me NEVER beleave everything you hear TILL the company in question announces whats coming. I do this cause sometimes whats specified is wishfull thinking that never happens.

We could use some SCUBA gear for costume pieces. Surely Starfleet, etc. had equipment that would be more functional underwater than the extravehicular suits?
Underwater enviroments would come in handy for future episodes set in water covered worlds, let alone recovery of a downed shuttle craft, life pods, etc. submerged in middle of deep lakes, bays, seas or even oceans.
Well, since they can't do the ground controls for Volleyball, how about adding Doff Missions for this kind of stuff like the Winter Event. Volleyball, Baseball, Scuba Diving, etc. Awarding Lohlunats as one of the rewards.
We don't have to keep doing Poker, Anbo-jintsu, etc., only.

I don't think this means we are getting a 10 Console version as the normal Event Ship. The Event Ship will be 'Fleet' grade to begin with. The one unlocked and available in the Fleet Store will have an alternate Specialization, Pilot.

What it means is the basic event version will be the usual standard, but "for a small price" you too can own the FULL PILOT VERSION that the original T6 should have been.
Essentially they are finding yet another way to cash in on the players.
Hrm. Well, I've got all these (potential) fleet modules sitting around from T6 reps. But does this mean all my characters who aren't in fleets are out of luck? That'd be annoying.
Well, if there are actually 2 ships, a regular and fleet version, and 2 admiralty cards, that's not even bad.
The facebook post would seem to imply that. The wording on the in-game loading screen, however, sounds more like there is only one ship and you upgrade it with a fleet ship module, rather than getting another ship, kinda like T5 to T5-U:
