Is there another way to turn off fast launch out of the launch page, I want to play tribble but the game launches before I have the chance to select it or turn the auto launch option off.
On the launcher there should be a button to swap to the Tribble server before hitting the Engage button, so i'm not sure why you're having this problem.
Don't you have to hit Engage to start the game after the launcher is ready? I just swap servers from there.

I have “auto launch” enabled so it will automatically launch when it’s ready.
Click on Options in the launcher and you can switch it off there.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
My issue was I had to roll back Windows and STO wouldn't automatically re-patch (It's the stupidest none feature) so I had to try and do a force verification with Fast Lunch on. I've always had STO installed on Steam and ARC. The Steam version always requires you to enter your password so I was able to turn off fast launch off. At that point it really doesn't matter because I was able to do the force verification there and that fixed the patch issue for me ARC version.

If you're too slow, do it on patch day so you have plenty of time while its patching.
