So, I'm attempting to play the mission A Step Between Stars in order to complete the sets (EV suit and space set). For 2 days when I click on the begin mission, the game freezes. Anyone else having this issue?

I haven't seen that issue no..
Just curious, do you have 'On Demand Patching' enabled in your launcher? If you do, try disabling that and trying. That should have the game download all the areas ahead of time instead of trying to get them from the server when you start the mission. It helps with a lot of crashes and freezes that occur on area change.
If that doesn't work, try a repair in your launcher options.. you could have a corrupted file somewhere.Insert witty signature line here.5 -

No issue. However just a few hours ago the patch server is a bit strange. If you are stuck at 40% just leave the computer and come back to check every 10 min. It should be loaded by then. It only happens on missions you have not played for a while and the server needs to patch.

I was having issues once where the game was crashing on map transitions and found that I did indeed need to disable patch on demand and just let the launcher finish patching everything before it would work again.
You can always turn patch on demand back on after this if you wish.Now a LTS and loving it.Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
