joining a fleet question

1 of my characters has joined a fleet, but when I tried to get my second character to join the same fleet the guy said that my character was already in a fleet, but my character wasn't in any fleet yet. Can only 1 character on your account join a fleet or what?

    You can have multiple characters in one fleet.

    More then likely, you inadvertently accepted a random fleet invite at some point. Click up on the Fleet Tab under your mini map and you'll probably pull up a fleet panel. If that's the case, you're in a fleet.

    Just go to the Roster tab and click on 'Leave Fleet' at the bottom right. You should then be able to join the fleet.
