Idea for Lifetime ships. New skins!

So with the lifetime ships, we got pretty much the 2410 skins. Which is fine and all, but why not insensitive them a little more? Why not make a ToS and Disco skin of the ship as well? So that no matter what version of STO toon you make, your lifer ship will match. :) I also feel like this would help sell the lifetime subscription more to players.

Just a thought is all. :)

    hmm more skins for the current ships would be nice but there are already vet ships for jem'hadar supposedly in the works so if that is true there is some coming but who knows when. Since Jem'hadar can't claim either the fed or kdf vet ships.

    I would like to go one further with that suggestion, and give the option to mix and match 2410, Disco and TOS skins for the sub ships.
    Resident TOS, G.I. Joe, Transformers and hair metal fangirl.

    And knowing is half the battle!

    They were actually planning a TOS vet ship at one point but I don't know what happened there, I guess they forgot about it or something. I never heard anything about a Disco Vet ship though, and the Jem'hadar one is still in the works but is postponed.

    I would love TOS or TMP or even TNG skins for the Fed vet ship. Always turned off by how completely non-Federation it looks for being THE Federation golden egg. Just wish it had the option for a round or oval saucer, not 23c + warp nacelles, etc. Ship would look amazing with "older" skins I think.

    I'd love to see a more "current" update for the LTS applied as well. The ship skins that exist now were based on an update a few years ago. Many "chapters" of content have been introduced over the last 3 years and the LTS hasn't really been updated since to complement those updates, either. I think the last real update was the release of a Romulan LTS variant ship, if I'm not mistaken.

    That said, IMO LTS rewards have definitely been lackluster over time and it would only be more beneficial for PW to have a good look at them and give it a current "refresh".

    Being critical doesn't take skill. Being constructively critical- which is providing alternative solutions or suggestions to a demonstrated problem, however, does.
