Winter Tribble, and 9th anniversary still going?

in Xbox One Gameplay Bug Reports
Every now and then I see I obtained a Winter Tribble very rare pop up but it doesn't appear in my inventory. It's white with red swirl in the pop up.

Is it possible that the 9th anniversary event causing the pop up?

Also the 9th anniversary event has still been going, did STO extend event another week or another bug because banners gon but Q and omegas still everywhere on Xbox?

    Sounds more like you have some of the winter event food stored in the same place you have some tribbles. The tribbles will eat any food item and when they eat the winter foods, they make a Winter Tribble. This can happen any time of year as long as you have winter food and tribbles in the same location.

    I guess very rare tribbles do eat things, it was my gamma tribble making winter.
