Hello fellow STO players, for the past couple of weeks I have been working on a website to showcase and keep a record of all the events that we have done and will do in the future. On the website you will see information about three current different event styles along with set rules for beginners and veteran only events. Also on the website it will show when the next events are planned, past event stats and also event replays. So every time an event is held the information and stats from the event will be added to website, I have also written about some future plans I would like to introduce if we can build up numbers of people.
I have been playing Star Trek Online for many years and have been a very active pvp player since I started to play the game. Having watched the game change over the years and talking with many pvp players old/new it gave me an insight into what players don’t like about pvp. This in turn has led me to create events that should appeal to all player skill levels while maintaining the fun factor & competitiveness that pvp has to offer in the game.
Looking back at pre delta rising pvp it was lets say more simplistic, it did not have starship traits no specialist bridge officers seats and no specialisation skills. It was more like you have an escort “lets do dmg”, you have cruiser “lets be a healer”, you have sci ship “lets create chaos on the map”. Now however the game has changed alot and become more complex, it is still possible of course to make builds like pre delta but it requires alot of thought. As a beginner this may look overwhelming but with the right support you will see its not that hard to create a great build for pvp.
The game has so much to offer now with all the traits and consoles that have been released, this to me makes building a ship a lot of fun as there are so many variables on offer. But of course over the years there have been problems, many bugs over powered abilities etc etc but I think since season 13 those balance changes have helped a lot. As it stands now there only a few main things that make the game not as enjoyable, so by creating these events we in turn create quality control. By making sure every player that enters the events and follows the rules as outlined then the fighting experience is more enjoyable for everyone.
Please check out the website below I hope you all like it

With the introduction of my new site the next event featured is called Battle of The Factions Part 2 hosted on the 20th April at 9.30pm GMT UK Time on the PVP Bootcamp Legacy Discord Server.
The Part 2 event will feature Escorts/Raiders and Destroyers, there will only be 3 factions in this event the Federation, Romulans and Kdf there is no Dominion because if you look at the ship lists the Dominion only have about 3-4 ships in this category. So the Dominion ships have now been added to the Universal ship list.
When you sign up please provide your game handle name, captain profession and faction you would like to represent. Sign ups have to be completed by the 13th/14th of April you will then be placed into a team and you will have just under 1 week to discuss with your team builds and tactics.
Each team is allowed to use a max of 2 identical faction ships and 1 universal ship per team the person using the universal ship has to have a character that is aligned to the faction, so for example you cannont have a federation character using a universal ship on a KDF team. But you can have a Romulan or Jem Hadar character that is alligned to the KDF using a universal ship on the KDF team.
As we saw with the last event preparation/communication is a key factor to success so its up to everyone on there team to think about what ships they want to fly and how they build them to support others.
I hope you all enjoy this event I am sure we will have some epic battles
