Ship equipment transfer

Is there a way to easily transfer the same equipment between several ships, depending on what ship I want to use at that moment? I've tried searching the forum for an answer, but was unable to find one.

    Loadouts. Equip everything to ship A, go to space if not there already, set up the powers tray, save your loadout. Repeat for ship B, ship C, etc.

    (Huh, no "loadouts" page in the wiki? If only I wasn't too lazy to create it....)

    Thanks for replying! I did see information about loadouts but from my limited understanding it didn't look like I could use them to do what I wanted, which is to set up a loadout for ship A and be able to transfer that same loadout to ship B easily. From what I can tell if I want the equipment from ship A to go to ship B I have to manually move it.

    The game automatically moves equipment to the selected ship when you switch ships.

    And it sometimes works in very quirky ways - but it often saves a couple clicks.

    I've had my equipment move from one ship to another, and then sometimes only some of the equipment will move. So I'm careful about switching ships and make sure I have everything I want on my current ship, then I set my stations/power tray in ESD space before heading out.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D
