This is clearly inspired by the Constitution Refit, as first seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, not the Constitution Class that is commonly associated with the original Star Trek television series.

The ship in TMP is called the Constitution Class. Refit is not part of the class name.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.
