    Yay, that gives us a good feeling, they know what they are doing, the emergency downtime totally fixed it.
    NOT.
    We want to keep the foundry.

    Really sucks as the system says Server status online. But nope.

    Verizon Fios. Stand-alone launcher.

    Will wait until later to try again (or if that doesn't work, will try after tomorrow's patch download/install). The hamsters would probably hiss at me if I kept trying now. Maybe they just need a short break?

    Same issue. I wonder if I will get the form copy paste message to reboot my computer? The last time this happened a couple of year ago around the post launch of Delta, my toon lost about a weeks worth of items and gains. I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen again.
    What happened to those unique forum ranks I paid for?

    I, too, am having the same issue. Put in a ticket but haven't heard anything from ARC. Another person I know was playing while I couldn't get in and having no problem until just now when he tried to switch characters. but he was able to get back in. I still can't. It seems to only be affecting some players.

    mine keeps saying cant log in from this ip address unable to authenticate

    "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" all day long. was able to get on around noon and then it kicked me out swapping toons and won't let me back in. just "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" can't even force verify files or patch unless you can log in.

    I went into the debug log in the star trek directory on my pc, and i have found many of these at the bottom of the log:

    [0206/164810:INFO:CONSOLE(0)] "Select shard: 0," source: http://launcher.startrekonline.com/static/all/js/api.js(157)
    [0206/165935:INFO:CONSOLE(0)] "Uncaught ReferenceError: LauncherAPI is not defined," source: about:blank(1)

    does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? or is this a fix that has to be performed on the server side?

    Update: I am now able to log in w/ the launcher & load the game. However, once at the character select screen I'm getting disconnected w/ the same error.

    FYI There was a comment made to facebook on the star trek online page that they are aware of the problem, and are working to fix it.

    I'm going to try to be patient. That might help unstress them so they can find that bug and squash it flat.

    Please,support them more by getting lifetime subscription and giving your money for zen.
    This is how they treat their costumers.

    I am not having the unable to authenticate but i get to the char select screen but the toons dont load then it disconnects me
    i play thru steam in arkansas
