    @brian334: Interesting story. I'm reminded somewhat of a story about Thomas Edison (from the movie National Treasure). He tried several hundred times to create a working electric light bulb, and when asked about it, he said, "I didn't fail, I found x number of ways how NOT to make a light bulb."

    Thanks. It's often the case in exploration that you don't find what you're looking for. But in this case, imagine what the Dominion's genetic engineers could do with living starships! Jem-hadar predator creatures, for example. This isn't as innocuous a find as the Lieutenant Commander thinks!

    I'm working my way through the entries. I really enjoyed the second one from Brian.

    I have one of my own in the works, expanding on an event I alluded to in one of Eleya's "distant finale" fics (the ones set after her death of natural causes in the 26th century).
