As usual, be honest and polite.

I'm reworking Sapph's first contact with dragonkind in the Realm system btw.

@brian334: Interesting story. I'm reminded somewhat of a story about Thomas Edison (from the movie National Treasure). He tried several hundred times to create a working electric light bulb, and when asked about it, he said, "I didn't fail, I found x number of ways how NOT to make a light bulb."

Thanks. It's often the case in exploration that you don't find what you're looking for. But in this case, imagine what the Dominion's genetic engineers could do with living starships! Jem-hadar predator creatures, for example. This isn't as innocuous a find as the Lieutenant Commander thinks!

First Contact Hawku Style! Thanks for that, though it did come at a bad time for me, during lunch.

I'm working my way through the entries. I really enjoyed the second one from Brian.

I have one of my own in the works, expanding on an event I alluded to in one of Eleya's "distant finale" fics (the ones set after her death of natural causes in the 26th century).

March challenge will be a redux (pick an old prompt and reuse it). I'll post it this evening.
