Best ground turret?

Could someone tell me what the best ground turret is, dps-wise. I currently use the ultra rare fleet beam turret that deploys a plasma flamethrower turret but it shows it only has 60 dps at best while the epic grade biotech antiproton undine turret does 156 dps so I'm wondering if I should buy that or something else.

Turrets need line of sight and as they spawn in a vague spot near the player thats not always possible so I tend to prefer the mortars such as the neutronic rep one. They can kill the enemies that have glitched into a wall or furniture and ignore line of sight allowing you to place them outside a room while still being able to engage in combat with anything thats aggro'd your team.

I suspect the flamethrower probably applies a dot which won't be counted as the turrets dps can't think of another reason why the difference would be so large.

The solar gateway is essentially a turret, does good damage and has a short cooldown, generally its been cheaper than the undine one. The undine one trumps the rom and basic ones for sure. As more ground doffs have been released its less easy to justify loading up with the extra turret/mortar/drone ones.

Yea posting, I already have the solar gateway, just wanting a good actual ground turret now.

Downside is that it heals Tholians and obstructs view.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
