FED: LVL20 - Freebie ship - HEAVY CRUISER - Issue/Problem

Never seen this before on any of my alts, i picked up the 4x Nacell stargazer'alike free ship you can get for promotion, fitted it all out ok but its weapon slots are 3/3, however the top/right fore weapon slot flags as red for my beams/torps and wont equip a weapon, clicking it lists no weapons so i can only fit 5 out of 6 weapons.

Anyone have any ideas whats going on here?

    Known bug, the devs are currently working on it.

    nice as long as its known, also noticed the 3rd eng console slot is also unequipable.

    Interesting, it might be prep work for further level-scaling of ships. They've said in a livestream (the one about the Mirror Engle IIRC0 that they were considering extending the level-scaling to all Tier 6 ships if they could find a good way to do it, which preventing slotting of gear into slots not yet available at that level would be one of the effects.

    having this same issue with my romulan warbird tier2 and the klingon heavy cruiser tier2. on the romulan one i went and purchased the zen variant just to have the third front weapon since i unmounted the very first one and never got it slotted back.

    Should be fixed by tomorrow's patch.

    Yeah people have commented that the locked slots aren't PERMANENTLY locked, they're locked until you gain a few levels.

    its fixed now, all slots work like a charm on my boats ... errr ships

    now (28.jan) it is back, but it seems to be intended because when i get the ship below tier3 the greyed out module slots become available one (11,21) level later, didnt notice this with the tier3 variants yet
