That is one of the Solanae EVA suits, three are available from the mission: A Step Between Stars
depending on your choice on which difficulty, beams, drones or neither. Here is the STO game pedia link:

Yep, you can get them for free.

Let me give you a little tip that will help if all you want is the suit. You don't even have to complete the mission, you'll get to a part where it has you take the suit. After you pick it up, you can just leave the mission and keep the suit. This is the quickest way if you want to get them for all your bridge officers.

if you get all 3 suits, you can trade them in to get the one that has all 3 extra buffs. (assuming that's still something you can do, its been awhile since I did it.)

You get a different suit to open depending on which of the 3 different methods of getting through the run-back part you do: easy, normal, hard.

The advanced version cost Lobi I think. Or did I miss anything? How can you trade them in? pig-17.gif

    Yes, that is right.

The advanced version requires a trade in of the Striker, Enforcer and Marksman along with 50 Lobi Crystals. I never really thought it was worth it.

Honestly, I have 30 Lobi myself, and have no idea how I got them. lol.

However, each of the suits are pretty cool. And as mentioned before, you can just put the different suits on your Boffs. Boffs are meat shields in missions anyway, so it isn't needed to put the best armor on them anyway. But I do suggest going all the way through the mission at leas once. I always thought it was a really fun mission.

For a moment I thought I missed a feature all these years 😁

In my opinion nothing is worth any Lobi as it's all character unlocks and none of them is even especially good. I did shell out sone for my 29c character to get the future phasers and Wells uni and the elevtric whip for my Lukari lightning char (uses exclusively electric damage). But those are just fun projects.

Tapping into that, I did purchase two specific ground type weapons in the Lobi store : The Advanced Herald Anti-Proton Beam Projector, and the Boolean Heavy Assault Cannon.
I've upgraded both to XV (Herald staff to epic), and they were worth it, for the ground combat missions.

No offence, but I think virtally every ground weapon does just as well. Those two are just meta and echoed to be the best, but the actual gain isn't worth the Lobi for me. Plus I don't like the looks personally.

The Herald Beam Projector is pretty powerful.. but you're right, it's far from necessary. I do almost as well with a crafted Split Beam rifle, but the Herald Staff is pretty sick.

Personally, I don't like the look either, I tend to stick with a standard Phaser Rifle when doing missions just for the aesthetic. I use the Herald staff when doing premades with my fleet. I have the Boolean Cannon too.. it's super powerful, but I hate everything about it and never use it.

They're both good weapons, I would argue that the Herald Staff is the best ground weapon.. but neither are anywhere near a necessity.

Been eyeballing the whip for my Orion Character, but i never got around to make a purchase. Will probably need a discount weekend since i doubt i have 50 lobi at hand.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Apologies if this was implied, but I'd like to add: you don't have to repeat the mission to equip BOFFs.
Just drag to each BOFF first, wait, then claim the suit again. Equip yours last.

That's why it's actually good, that people come equipped with different tastes. And like Trek, we must unite, at the very least, more. After all, we are one planet.
