The direction of STO?

Im not trying to be melodramatic. But where exactly is the game I purchased a LTS for heading?
I read that "a guy" saw in some thread that "some other guy" heard that "some cryptic guy" said "something".

Now Blizzard has BlizzCon - its huge and glitzy and thousands go. Wow and Diablo and SC all makes bank to enable that and STO is not quite that big so I don't need something like that.

But seriously - the occasional dev panel would go down well. Maybe an ama on reddit. Who knows.

Do I get my hopes up about this Account is the Player stuff? Is there any actual progress? An appetite for other features that would make the game more enticing to new players?

    Cryptic holds a weekly livestream on twitch with open fan Q&A for guest devs. The recent interview with executive producer Andre included a rich overview of where the game's headed.

    Cryptic go to many big events as well as doing a weekly livestream to peddle their goods already.

    I don't Twitch. It's on Facebook as well, as well as Youtube.

    ALso Cryptic isn't as big as Blizzard, so they can't do those brand convention sized things like BlizzCon.
