TFO Rewards Battle of the Binary Stars

Hi

Logged on to finish this and get my 14th TFO reward and claim the prizes but only to find out its gone.

I am not happy about this what do I do with the tokens now ? I tried to play it everyday but didnt manage to get on some days and dont think its very fair, it should allow you to finish it if you are at certain point in the event.

    Just tuck the tokens in your bank. The TFO event will roll around again, more than likely. Or if you already slotted them into the project, simply do not cancel it.

    They give you 21 days to acquire the tokens. This event was displayed on the Calendar, and had plenty of advertising. What Cryptic do IS fair. It is not Cryptic's job to work around EVERYONE'S timetable. By giving you extra time IN EVERY EVENT, they are giving you fair and ample time to plan.

    Bank the tokens for the next run.

    if you already have the project slotted... wait for the next run and finish then. if you only collected the tokens and never slotted the project. good news your set for the next TFO event!

    ok so it is fair ;-) just got a bit annoyed

    I already have them slotted and have used the 13 TFO rewards for it so just have 1 left.

    I cant bank them as have already slotted them, will they just stay there till next Event ?

    It would be nice if they gave us a whole month. Apparently they don't realize (or care) that some people actually have to work and can't always play constantly. But I guess their profit model revolves around the rich and their children, not working people.

    In their defense they do give three weeks for a 14 day earning requirement with a 20 hour cooldown on the tokens. And despite feeling much longer due to pregnant pauses and the cutscene it only took 10-15 minutes out of a day.

    If it was greed driven they'd have dropped the timeframe to a fortnight which would shaft a lot of folk who routinely lose a day due to maintenance and used that to promote the overpriced token bundle in the zen store.

    Yeah I agree if you can't spend 7-15 mins to do the specific que 14 times over the of 20 days it is up for, as the reward is account unlocked so no need to do it on all your characters unless you want the marks/dil part, there is a bigger issue that needs to be addressed. Also you are not entitled to get the project completed unless you meet the requirements set forth to get said reward as you made the choice to not meet the requirements of your own accord, even someone working upwards of 60-80 hours a week like some working two jobs do could easily meet this requirement.

    An just because you choose to have a life by going out with friends, family, and the like does not make the fact you chose not to take 15 mins to do the mission any less a choice. it is still a good choice to go out with family an friends having a social life, but like all choices it makes you not able to do other things. You can't have your cake an eat too as the saying goes I believe.

    \But yeah when the next time the weekend or similar variant event like this one comes around if you have the marks or project still you can most likely complete the project.

    Always funny to see someone declare they don't have time to play the game, yet still complain about not getting every little trinket in it. :D
