So the rumors about a Fek'lhri turned out to be true. Nice addition to my KDF character. Going to be interesting to see what trait will go with it.

Not sure about the modules with Nightmares and Psionic attacks.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Can we have a Breen ship next year?

That Fek’Ihri S’torr Warship looks real nice & I'm glad we're getting a break from the Breen theme. Of course only the stats will determine if the S'torr is more sizzle or steak.

Those "Enviro Jackets" just look like glossy versions of the previous jackets, but they look nice. I wish one of them had some yellow/gold though for a more Engineer look.

I'm not into the sweater look, but the tardigrade in a Santa cap, disco, & what seems to be a Borge cube with antlers all seem approved by the Gorn at least.

The nanopulse Bat'leth I'm a bit disappointed in since there's at least no Fed counterpart version. It looks nice enough though with the new "Discovery" Bat'leth appearance. I guess the creative juices were all dried-up for a Fed or Rom version.

The Kit Modules' screenshots look cool & I'm sure the animation is too. It all depends whether the modules actually have any oomph to them.

The withered beef-jerky looking elf seems good for the pet collectors. It's a shame it can only be summoned during the event though, what would've that hurt to allow it all year?, but the little red cap I guess is a nice touch as a reminder.

Well this looks interresting, though to be honest I was hoping for a new direction for the ground weapon this year. Something to play off Winters chill more. Like an Ice shard whip, to deal cold damage in melee. I just feel the same nano-pulse style weapons have gotten pretty stale; speacialy with you not able to upgrade them. The ship on the otherhand looks great, very curious if it will have changable elements, like changing the color of the flames. I do like the winter nightmare theme though, and the ground kits are a nice change up. Ether way looking forward as always to the winter event.
Space is vast, it's wonderful and maddening. Yet in that madness is some of the greatest beauty I have ever seen.

Too many breen ships already. We've Breen there and done that already.

It would be a nice touch if the Borg Cubes (and other geometrical-influenced shaped Borg ships) were given antlers during the Holiday event :)

I rather like the puff of smoke and forlorn red cap for summoning the elf after the WW is over.

I'm ok with no new activities. As it is the schedule is full. I wouldn't mind losing the snowconian if we got something new in its place. But Q is a bit depressed this year. And I can empathize.

Have to say the picture of the new ship is unflattering to say the least. I reserve judgement on the ship though until seeing the other angles.

And still no Christmas trees or decorations for our Fleet Holdings!? The poor ship ornament does not suffice!

Stuff looks good this year. Especially the long coats as they appear to look decent on female toons from the pics here, unlike most of them which makes them look like a sausage rolled by an amateur.

I quit using the long coats at all...since the legs clip through the back. :pout:

I like the tardigrade sweater though...already trying to figure out which characters I am getting that one on.

Ship looks cool but I'll have to see what it's worth in stats, and if the flames are just part of its console and not on all the time.

Cute sweaters and yay, because the DSC bat'leth wasn't likely to kill its holder more than their foe enough (it's even canon), it now comes in a nanopulse version! For a much higher chance to injure yourself!

Shame that certain stuff can only be summoned for a few weeks out of a year(the non-combat pets, and visual effects of the tribble). Not sure if the new "psionic" kit modules will work with the Vulcan clone doff from the weak Halloween episode. New jackets are just a gloss paint slapped over the old. So....with the new ship, is that going to entail any Fed or accomplice to blueside using the KDF bridges for the ship? Will it be pretty much keeping in line w/ the Kar'fi for the KDF?

I'm glad for a Breen break and like the look of the new ship. Again, I'll wait to see how it fares in combat but still looks sharp so well done. The kit modules initially look sort of 'meh' and trying to chase down scampering enemies with a melee weapon isn't for me so I'll pass on the batleth as well.

I'd also like to see the pets be usable all year long but regardless this is my favorite event so thanks for bringing it back. See you guys on the frozen pond of doom.

I have to say I've played MMOs for so long I barely notice clipping issues unless they're very bad. As in, "large body parts goes missing" bad. But the figure shape of long coats on women in this game is just *shudder*.

I agree about the sweater. I really think all of them are nice, so I'm likely going to go on a shopping splurge for most of my toons of which I have waaaaay too many. But hey, I've accumulated so much winter currency over the last couple of years that I can afford it.

No new events for this year, good. There's already quite a bit to do as it is. Some things could use a bit of updating perhaps, but I'm fine with no new events for the Winter Wonderland.

New Kit Mods, they sound interesting, but I'll reserve judgement until I see how they look and perform. No new Training Manuals? That's a shame.

New coats, nice. New sweaters, meh, I'm not a sweater guy, but it's nice there is something new for those that want them.

Another pet? Pass. I have too many of these things taking up too much inventory space as it is. Until a "Pet" tab is added to our inventory, I will not be buying any more pets.

A Discovery era Nanopulse Bat’leth? Once again, pass. If these things were upgradable, maybe, but since they aren't, no thanks.

Finally on to the new ship. The Fek’Ihri S’torr Warship certainly looks, umm, interesting. Not bad, not great, definitely different from the Breen ships. I suppose we should have seen this type of ship coming since the Breen ships have been done to death over the years. Then the introduction of the Kramp'Ihri and his minions last year (it was just last year, wasn't it?), I guess it kind of makes sense.

As for the "dark" tones the Winter Event seems to have taken lately, I get it. Not everyone is into sugar plums and Santa. And it's easy enough to ignore the Kramp'Ihri portion of the event.

Overall, I'll run the race for the ship, I'll DOff for ornaments to buy the other stuff I may want and that'll be about it. I used to love the Winter Event, but I'm just kinda burned out on it over the years. It's not bad, and I will probably still run parts of it over the length of the Event, but at this time of year, it's time to spend real world time doing other things.

Well maybe no new Training Manuals because it will make it obvious that the ones provided during the Summer are way overpriced and are of a less level than the Winter ones. ;)

I am looking at the animation of the Gorn using that Bat'leth. I am wondering if he is holding it backwards?

Honestly I would've been more interested in a new science ship, but I guess this one does look interesting, but I hope they give it 5 tac slots this time.

Although I was hoping for the warship inside of that Breen/Defari area mission. This is still quite welcome! This has to be one event I enjoy, even though it hasn't changed very much over the years. Maybe next year, there could be a mission to retrieve spirts of holidays past from the Fek'lhri ship of the damned or something. Maybe even license the Gummy Bear song in Klingon and create a gummy bear ship interior for us to disco dance in.

Yes, if it was a science ship of course. ;) But it's fairly obvious that this new ship is going to be tactical.

This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

A reasonable suggestion, sir. 'Cryo-infused' (for want of a better term) weapons - lirpa, bat'leth, sword - would be a welcome addition.
I just feel the same nano-pulse style weapons have gotten pretty stale; speacialy with you not able to upgrade them.
And what makes the nanopulse weapons worse is that they do plasma damage - Borg can and do adapt to them.
The ship on the otherhand looks great, very curious if it will have changable elements, like changing the color of the flames.
A bit of Google-fu unearthed this. Yes, it would be appreciated if you could change the flame coloration, as well as opt to remove the 'sails'. And while Mr. Ortiz thought it'd be something the 'Main Man' would come up with (and I don't blame him), I can't be the only one who saw this and imagined... well, let me put it this way...

"Captain Riggs, your ship is ready for its shakedown cruise..."

We should also wonder if there are plans afoot for a Fek'Ihri console set...
I do like the winter nightmare theme though, and the ground kits are a nice change up.
    Indeed they are.
