And hopefully, that thing with the Skill Trees going Invalid mode after Claiming T6 Reputation project disappears, too. Unless that is some sort of artifact crossing over from them changing the skill tree to allowing permanent respecs. ???? At least, THAT is what I been hoping for. Let us hope for that.
    Free respec is free respec.

@questerius Borticus says they are working on it according to the post by Ambassador Kael. It is just a matter of when.

Like I said, at this point, it's all kinda moot. I only have 4 days to go. And I missed 3 days or so. So, at this time, come tomorrow, or the day after, many ppl will simply be done with all Reps. This should have been done in the first week; or, preferably *before* implementing T6 Reps.

nice for you... i've barely logged on since they did this T6 rep... I log on and spend 30 mins - 45 mins just doing this, doffing & admiralty for 1 toon and then I give up... really cant stand all that clicking with the slider to say how much I want to donate to a project that only I can donate to.

yeah I know that it wouldnt not be as bad for 1 rep at a time... but we have 12 reps to do all at once for each toon.

Fortunately it's 100% optional. I've got 10 days of the temporary one time slog left to do myself and I'm excited that it's almost done.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

Yep, I'm really dreading the click-fest, every day. Wasn't kidding when I said it's giving me RSI. :( 12 Reps for all my toons is simply too much.

SMH, they just keep dumbing down the language. Anyway, I've had Carpal Tunnel since I was 19, thats 22 years ago, and nothing in STO causes me problems, typing on my phone does.

Carpal Tunnel is NOT the same as RSI! Repetitive Stress/Strain Injury is a lot more generic. Carpal tunnel syndrome, otoh, is a a very specific condition of the wrist, when the tunnel that carries the median nerve becomes narrowed, or (what ppl often confuse with RSI in general) when repeating the same hand and wrist motions or activities over a prolonged period of time may aggravate the tendons in the wrist, causing swelling that puts pressure on the median nerve, that way.

I'm still hoping that in the near future T6 Omega Reputation gives unlocks access to playable assimilated variants of ships at fleet shipyards:
    E.g.
    https://sto.gamepedia.com/I.R.W._Valdore
    https://sto.gamepedia.com/Assimilated_Bird_of_Prey
    https://sto.gamepedia.com/Assimilated_Raptor
    https://sto.gamepedia.com/Assimilated_Carrier

Or for some role play: The Tal Shiar adapted ships.
Would love to fly a borg adapted https://sto.gamepedia.com/D'deridex_Battlecruiser

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

ClickTrek Online, designed to keep you logged in for our metrics, rewards minor boosts to mostly unused passives.

As a fleet leader who regularly has to fill thousands of doffs into fleets this clicking epidemic is nothing new to me. It just hurts my wrists even more than normal. I am only taking two toons to T6 and that is enough for now. What this, and many other problems with this game reveal is that not a single Dev actually plays the game like we do. This is also apparent when you watch certain devs on the live stream not even knowing how to operate their ships/toons and performing as badly as any noob.

If the devs actually played their own game as we do, if they had to actually run fleets as we do, you can be sure many of these ill conceived systems would have been updated years ago. Sadly it remains our tiresome duty to scream from the rooftops until something is done, or take the easier route, as many have, to just not bother logging in at all and play something else.

    Truer words were never spoken.

I’m really curious what account benefits future recruitments events will hold. The way T6 reps have been handled they better be good.

This is why I'm glad I saved up my marks instead of turning them to dil- means for my 11 toons all I have to do is kick off each assignment daily instead of earning the marks separately as well!

thought of Roberts Space Industries at first... The other game you can spend hundreds of Dollars on ships, except many of those aren't even playable yet. :p

finished all my reps on one toon. and not doing it on any toon afterwards. wasnt impressed the with "rewards" either.

'Impressed' may be too big of a word; nonetheless, many of the old consoles now do extra dmg for a different weapon type too. Meaning a set exclusively used for, say, Disruptor, can now be used for Plasma too; or AP. I need to carefully examine it all, but this could yield some nice new combinations.

Man.. thank god I am finally done with this TRIBBLE.

Some of the rewards aren't bad.. but in the end, this T6 Rep is just another reason I will never make another new character again. I did the full slog on 8 characters and I have had enough clicking to last me the rest of my life.
    Insert witty signature line here.

Here, here and gz mate that you are done.

When I get home from work I can also load the T6 upgrades and all toons of mine. It’s like waking up from a 1 month nightmare I don’t want to repeat ever again.

want to carry on get some rep systems to t6 but i just can't seem to be bothered to keep on grinding for marks and get it to t6 there are just way too many. I still love this game and want to keep on playing but im just not gonna bother with the t6 rep systems its too much

Dear God! A game with open ended vanity objectives that will take some time to achieve! How dare they!

Point of fact - there may be many reputations, but most of them are not relevant anymore, or are only relevant to specific builds. So, just play the game normally, level the relevant reputations to get the rep-gear you need and one day, without getting disaffected or grinding too damn hard - you'll review your reps and notice - like me - that they're mostly done.

Since most of the past recruitment events included reaching max level on some number of reputations, the new T6 essentially guarantees that completing the recruitment (and getting the final rewards) will now take more than 50 days. Seems rather excessive.

If I had known that another reputation tier was coming, I would never have traded marks for dil and forced a mark grind on a few alts.

What I'm now dreading is that at some point in the not too distant future, there will be a new R&D max level (like level 25, up from 20) to justify better trait rewards and craft higher Mark items (e.g., Mark XIV up from Mark XII). What a slog that would be.

    That's unlikely.
    1. They still haven't even filled the existing 20 levels with anything. All you can get post-15 is an accolade.
    2. They aren't going to let you craft higher-mark items.
    3. Nobody wants to craft higher-mark items even if they allowed it, because the way the upgrade system is set up it's best to craft at the lowest mark possible. The only things anyone crafts at mk12 are the stuff that can't be crafted any lower.
    4. Other than the boff skill revamp and accompanying training manual crafts, they haven't added anything at all to craft in years. The system is pretty much abandoned.

Once my game updates, today is my final claim on the Daily Reps. So I will have all at T6. Now most my toons had extra marks laying around, so other than my new Jemmy, I didn't have to do any work. Just a couple Borg RAs (before they got killed off) to get >900 Marks.
My main issue is the 20hrs of just filling those queues I've had to do! I have 9 toons and filling 3 queues on each of the 12 reps takes 30-40mins a day (and doing doffing on my new Jemmy). Other than a couple RTFOs or Endeavors, that's pretty much the only thing I've done in STO the last month.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

Have 3 more days for my T6 Omega. Was kind of hoping the reduced click system arrived early.
