My other character, Savel, did KiS like 19 times, going for the frikken accolade, which i did get, but naaaah, not really (FINALLY got it yesterday).
My new character, T'Loren, 27, MK VI gear, went for it today, twice now, first run went like: All went smooth, I did the Assimilator, got warning I got the Accolade (WOW, from the FIRST TIME?????), got to end boss, killed it, died horribly (logical, in MK VI gear, critters were twice me level), Respawned in Space, but...
No Borg BOff.
Redo.
Second run, halfway folks left the STO, I was with one INACTIVE player left, so, well, I can't do it on my own, can I.
Guess, it's time to leave too... I warn the other fella, and I beam out.
Restart it...
Nope...
All be very red...
Why am I punished for leaving a dead STO?
Dang, and I need to do this one

Second... How did you get a leaver penalty if you were one of the last two?
And Yes I know I said I wasn't ever doing group content in STO, but this shower of idiots (points at Cryptic) have broken the story arc rewards from my Delta & Temporal recuits, so none of my low lvl toons can access the dil from the account rewards, so I'm doing the STF/TFO/GTFO's to see if I can unlock them that way.
You are supposed to get automatically credited for missions removed that affected those rewards, so if you have completed all those other arcs and still not been credited, submit a bug-report in the Support forums.
Not FCUKing happy about it either.
You can skip the TFO missions.
I thought it was down to Cyptic adding those TFO wrappers to it, but having just ran romulan minefield and azure nebula (sorry to those that got dragged into those with me) to clear the first two story arcs on my Temp Recruit, no change, my AoD still doesn't have access to the rewards from those arcs.
Guess it's just another normal day at Cryptic towers, one bad idea that spawns a million bugs.
Repeated, because this may solve the main issue and get lost otherwise.
2. Characters must be level 20 (unless they've raised it) before they can claim account rewards. Jem'hadar characters must have been played for 20 hours.

My character Tsin'xing
You get to choose from a few, that one is in there as VALID option. Incorrect, I HAVE HIM! And miss my Borg BOff?
HELL NO!
He's AWESOME. Yeah!
Man, if he could sing, he'd ROCK. Wait wait wait,... so, it IS an STF?
*Confuzzled now*
All aside, I finally managed to get him on both.
Once you run into the TRIBBLE-imilator and die, you get the accolade, and in the Dil you can claim him.
Works on Fleet Admirals even.
God, go fetch him, I am NOT kidding!!!
He's the top BOff out there.
ESPECIALLY if you are 'young' still.

"STF" (Special Task Force) was the original "queue type" for the borg queues (and only the borg queues) back when they were still actually special. The other types were "Fleet Action," which despite the name didn't mean the fleet-only queues you played to get fleet marks but rather everything released before season 6 that weren't STFs, and "Event" which despite the name didn't mean events, but everything released after season 6 that wasn't an STF. It was all kinda stupid. In practice a lot of people have been calling ALL the queues STFs over the years.
Queues don't even have type labels anymore, though I don't remember exactly when they were removed. And now there's Cryptic trying to push the name Task Force Operation (TFO) on us.
I just call 'em queues.
Yeah, they ran a loop in designating 1 of 3, so they had a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3... 2/3, 3/3.
Later they fixed the double designations.
Sux when a program loops and then hangs, right?
