Do Discovery characters get era-appropriate fleet support, holo fleet and security escorts?

Or is it once again default 25c?

^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^
"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou

That's really a deep cut. I don't understand why we don't get this bit of fluff (no, "we all are in the 25c" is no argument, the characters use transporter and tricorder/phaser and scan animations of their era)

    you have unrealistic expectations

If those are unrealistic expectations, I’d hate to see what the realistic expectations are. A copy/paste tutorial I guess.

It would be really nice to have this, especially since we're entering a period of Discovery related content in STO. Would be nice for our AoD characters to have this option in order to keep them thematic with the Discovery ships, weapons, uniforms, etc.

Please devs., make this happen for us soon! It would be a wonderful addition to our AoD captains. :)

As an expansion delivered over time - and not all at once - makes sense this detail would be on the list of things to polish.

Since it never was "polished" for AoY - my hopes aren't really flying high here.

I'm always lurking around, just remain cloaked like a proper KDF player. :naughty:

Eh, regardless, it would be a nice cosmetic detail for people that want to RP or just keep a certain character within a certain theme. I think we can all agree that consistency is out the window for a long time, otherwise we'd have our DISCO uniforms deleted the moment Daniels tells us to switch them in order to fit in, not to mention using the DISCO era ships (or all other ships of old for that matter) throughout the 25-th century storyline.

With the rediscovery of Yard 39, DSC ships in fleet support and holographic fleet would make sense in the 25th century.
