Star Trek Enterprise

I think arc games should add Star Trek Enterprise items nothing too extravagant just a phase pistol is shuttlepod and maybe a bridge I'm curious what other people think and if they would make it with enough fans support oh I'm curious how many people actually like Star Trek Enterprise it's my favorite series

Would be nice. We already have a map prop on ESD of the Enterprise MACO rifle.

Arc is a launcher program, not a company, STO is made by Cryptic, published by PWE.

That aside, the most important Enterprise items are already in game (IMO), the uniform, in both Fed and Mirror, the NX at T1 and T6.

I'd still like a Phase Pistol to go with the uniform.
Closest we got is the Elite Fleet Wide Beam Pistol.

Sure they could add that stuff for the paltry sum of 2,000,000 Dilitium each, availible at your friendly neighborhood Dilitium Store. ;)

Well if you get the NX you get the grappler and with the NX-01 Refit on lobi you get a pretty damn powerful quasi cruiser once geared out (IMHO it is half escort and half cruiser with some of the best the traits of both). Yes a shuttlepod would be nice as well as the MACO ground weapons if you want to stay in the era.

Don't even joke about that man! Putting those outfits in the DL Store was a bad idea in the first place!

Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

I want the theme song to replace the regular STO music in sector space. “It’s been a long road, getting from there to here...” ENT is definitely the least bingeable trek on Netflix, and solely because of that terrible song.

Enterprise is decent. Not the best Star Trek series I've watched (TNG and DS9 are way ahead on my list), but still bringing its own load of goodness to the franchise. I liked the Xindi/Sphere Builders arc in particular.

I don’t hate the show. I’ve probably seen the entire thing 4 or 5 times and own the blu rays. I just REALLY hate the song

Yeah that song was... ugh... yeah.

On the bright side it gave us Mirror Darkly theme and two pretty badass MU EPs that told Terran perspective instead of all that crossover nonsense in DS9.

& Andorians/Shran which I thought were done pretty well.

I’m always for cannon (alpha & beta) gear and ships of everything up to and not including Discovery. I wish they would do it more often. There’s so much material to pull from.

It was nice getting the nod to ENT ships through the recent flight deck carriers. For more I think the core FED or the Xindi need to come into focus. Those wouldn't be bad moves following a major intro into Discovery themes and aspects.

I am the opposite. I don't like J.J. ships etc that much. Mind you I am no a huge fan of the U.S.S. Discovery ship design either. I love the Shenzhou. I wish they had used beam phasers instead of 'pew pew pew' and used 'vzzzap'. Oh and I almost forgot. I hate the new Ork look the Klingons have .Other than that I am fine . Although I can't say I am thrilled with the prospect of making another Fed (aka AOY 2.0 starter character with another recruitment... Uh... --_--) lvl 1 toon. Hope they continue with VIL.

That couldn't be...sarcasm, could it?

Let's revisit this question come 2025. As long as CBS's Discovery - and whatever mysterious CBS projects are coming - keep our beloved franchise afloat, this game will have plenty of source material from which to draw until such a time.

There is a "skip intro" option on Netflix. ;)

I'd be happy with the Intrepid-, Freedom-, and Ganges-classes as playable (or at least NPC) ships. And maybe some more Enterprise-era assets for the Foundry.

Actually, an Agents of Yesterday-esque faction would be cool. Maybe a prelude to the Earth-Romulan War...

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Honestly I think the first ships to reference Ent were from shortly after launch. The old "space potato" Orion ships remind me of the battle barge from Ent.

I'd love to have the MACO stun prod melee weapon for my Deferi patrol (it's a cosmetic item on the belt of the 2 million dil uniform xD).

(I know, I can just get a Vulcan and use the T'Pol uniform, but it's not the same.)

Only things I hated about ENT were:
Cancelled too soon. Damn it. Almost got the Romulan war.
    Opening theme. YUCK.

    Agreed.

I am always a bit different from a typical Star Trek fan in that regard. Enterprise was my favorite of the Trek series, I loved it.

I would happily welcome any content from ENT with open arms.

I would not mind the addition of the Enterprise bridge as well as either lowering the prices of the MACO uniforms, adding them to the reputation that already has MACO stuff, or adding it to the C-Store into the Enterprise pack or in the costumes section of the store. Those are my thoughts on the subject. Thanks.

Just frickin' take those DL outfits and either make them available via GPL or stick them in the C-Store. I don't care if they're the same price for GPL either! We literally have NOTHING worth getting for GPL other than the Nullifier.

For me it's hands down the worst decision Cryptic have ever made in putting those TWoK uniforms in the Dil Store and not the C Store where they belong.

Truly an astonishingly stupid decision that I'm really surprised wasn't laughed out of the office.

JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Its possible it was meant to either entice people to trade Zen for Dilithium, or try and balance the Exchange. Which at the time was getting pretty bad. It SORTA had an impact on the exchange rates, but then we had another DL flooding event that killed any little progress it made.

But still... the prices for them as character unlocks is ridiculous.

Precedence was there with the Dilitium prices for colored EV Suits in that Store, though not of the extent.
