Got it because New Orleans is my fave ship in the Trek-verse ... But she blows up way to easy and you know how easily shields are stripped away.

Just bought mine, the regular version seems to have 40,500 hull out of the box (I'm Level 65) and the Fleet has 44,550.

Much more the kind of numbers I was hoping for.

Cryptic simply wants us to, by trick or treat, pay more for less. I will golf clap for Cryptic though in either realizing or acknowledging & then lowering the price from 5K to 4K. Then again, these ships were released broken apparently for the fleet versions. Cryptic releases ships already with 11 consoles & it seems like a step back with only 10 to then have to pay more for the 11th, but nickle & diming can be smart business. The stats of the ships seem to be sub-par for Destroyers, but that can be subjectively measured given other aspects of a ship. The ships' traits seem nice. Only having Fed. & KDF versions shows the amount of effort though when it has been stated that a Romulan version is/was planned. I do think the appearances are nice, but the Fed. gets mostly reused assets whereas KDF looks brand new.

I wonder if/when, & it is a big if, Cryptic adds the Romulan version will it be a stand alone? Will it be incorporated into the bundle? If so with the bundle, will Cryptic apply the same discount mechanism as they did with the Dominion Vanguard bundles? Or was that a one time deal since Cryptic hasn't gone back & applied that discount mechanism to all previously available bundles because I'm sure that would be a headache & a half to get it correctly done.

I like Fed and Rom ships but not KDF ships, personally I'd rather pay for a Fed and Rom ship pack otherwise I will just buy the Fed version on its own.

While the Ships look nice, the stats seem underwhelming, so why to buy them...

I've been doing a little bit of a test drive with it on my Engineer, and I've been pleasantly surprised with how well she's flying so far. I'll know more when I get the Trait unlocked then test it on my Tac to see how it does there.

So...are you saying there are still errors in the Dev Blog stats???

Can someone please post the correct information here....for everything....including hull and shield modifiers please. In particular, on that Ketha Raptor...I still don't think shield mod is right in the Blog for a cloaked ship. Or did they bump up the shield modifiers for the Lafayette???

I just tried to look up the stats from the CStore and you know what? There are no stats listed. No Hull Strength, no Hull mod, no shield mod, no impulse mod, no turn rate, no number of consoles, no number of weapon slots. Nothing.

How is a player supposed to make an informed decision when they don't have any of the relevant info? As many mistakes that were initially made with the blog, I don't believe ANYTHING in it at this point. I do trust the players who are reporting stats, but even that has only been the hull strength, which is higher than listed in the blog.

I'm going to wait for things to get ironed out and for a proper ship sale before I buy these ships. I like the looks but I can wait.

Got just the fleet version, in Tholian Red Alert I have 75k hull 22k shields. Not bare ship, that's with all my stuff. Not bad, moves faster then I expected, and looks like a Nebby & Galaxy had a baby. Pull up next to a Galaxy, and ya really see the size differences.
Think I'll be going back to my Sci Pilot ship though, as I don't see any more survivabilty in it.

I do wish the mission pods were removable, feel like a fish with sucker fish attached to it.
Please Cryptic, make the pods hide-able.

Anyone else NOT seeing the fleet version in the new ship requisitions screen at Earth Spacedock?

It's been withdrawn due to a "glitch"

Any idea when that'll be fixed? I already got a fleet ship module...

Forget it. Just wait for the Wiki to get updated...and hope those folks are double checking the stats from someone who bought the ship and not info off the Dev Blog.

Edit: I just spent some time in the game looking at the Zen Store and Shipyard Vendor and Ship Stats...and there really is no way a player can find info like shield modifiers and base hull if one of the programmers or Devs don't type it in the description field or in the Dev Blog. Is there?

Well, there's math. The base hull at 60 is 40,000... so divide the unmodified hull of a ship by 40000 and you have its hull modifier. Shields work the same way, but are based on the shield you mount on them.

    Me and math....not happening. LOL!

I imagine one would have to remove ALL gear and traits and skills and yadda, yadda, yadda that would add anything to those numbers in the status, anyways.

I want a ship with Intelligence BOFF seats...the race is between Mat'Ha or Ketha (I even considered a Qib Intell B.C. but decided battle cruiser is out of my realm). So, Spinal Cannons or a science project gone awry (Trinary Arrays).

I think I will wait for the Wiki Folks to get the facts straight.

I am shocked by how weak this ship is. Its hull is on the low end of T6 escorts, which range (at lvl 60) from ~38K to ~42K. The exception to this range, at least that I've noticed, is the Detapa Cardassian intel escort, which is listed at 46K, although in my ship requisitions window, its base hull is listed at 51.75K. If that second number is accurate, then the range is more like ~42 to ~45 with a couple of ships, like the Detapa, still being outliers.

Cruisers, on the other hand, range from ~52K to 58K, although they appear in the requisition window between ~55K and ~65K.

And then there's the LaFayette, which is listed on the stats blog (since its stats don't appear in the C-Store because reasons) as having a 36K hull at lvl 60, or in the requisitions window as having a 40.5K hull.

For a ship that is advertised as being a hybrid escort/cruiser, it does seem to be more like a science vessel in its toughness, and although it does have more science console slots that one might expect (and fewer engineering console slots), it is very definitely listed as an escort and it handles like one.

Only, when using it, I have to have as many hull and shield healing abilities selected, both in terms of Boff abilities and consoles, in order to avoid dying almost as soon as combat starts. This is more than I have to do on most regular escorts.

For an escort/cruiser, I would expect a hull of around ~48K-50K (C-Store or requisition window listing), like that of a heavy escort (the Alita, for instance).

Maybe I'm the only one here with this issue? Maybe the problem is with how they were advertised?

Either way, the console that comes with it is cool.
