Okay, I'VE HAD IT! "I want these 'THINGS', out of my 'inventory'! I don't care WHAT it TAKES!

Like a certain hapless Federation Starfleet Captain who was diverted to Space Station K-7, I have become 'plagued', by that dreaded Interstellar fuzzy fiend, THE TRIBBLE! I inadvertently wound up with 'ONE', in my inventory! And now, it is PRACTICALLY TAKING IT OVER.

Now, since I CAN'T EJECT THEM into SPACE, just how exactly do I 'remove' the little fellas, from my Inventory? (Unfortunately, the Klingons have gotten wise to Montgomery Scott's tactic of "beaming tribbles into the engine rooms of their starships! Damn it!)

right click, discard. then don't keep any food or tribbles in your inventory. or you can get a cammibal tribble which eat other tribbles.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

If you keep any food in your inventory along with a tribble, it (they) will continue to multiply until you either run out of food, or run out of inventory space. Make use of them. Buy a cannibal triblle or two from the exchange, drop them all into your bank and let the cannibal tribbles turn them in to tribble carcasses. Give the carcasses to one of your KDF toons and then turn them in in your DoFF assignments. Off the top of my head I don't remember what you get but what the heck, the tribbles are free and other than the initial cost of the cannibals, the carcasses are free.

Most of my KDF toons have two cannibals in their bank, along with two tribbles. I keep a bunch of food in there also. The cannibals turn tribbles into carcasses at the exact same rate that tribbles multiply so as long as I keep replenishing the food I have a never ending supply of tribble carcasses for turn in.
    LTS and loving it.

If you have a KDF toon, put them in your account bank, breed the KDF toon a cannibal tribble, and you can hand in tribble corpses for latinum.

Post your @handle and you may find a baked tribble arrive.

Any levelling alts of mine tend to carry a pair of cannibals dropping down to a one when that character becomes less active.

If you have a KDF alt, even if it only becomes a dil source, they get an easy mode endeavour that asks feds for 10 prisoners (2 per time and hour between each) that asks for a single hand in of tribble carcasses.

Right click - Discard or just pull them out of Inventory and drop them outside the Inventory. Make sure you don't have any Bank open.

  • I had no idea that tribbles did this! I just thought I was picking them up without realising it! That's brilliant!

Just yesterday, when I was clearing them out of my inventory once again, I made a joke to myself about them breeding like tribbles. Then I read this thread and find out that they're actually breeding like tribbles! Whoever thought this mechanic up is a genius.

Every hour of playtime they breed. Cannibal tribbles will at that time eat a common tribble.

Like others have said, you can make tribble carcasses to either sell on the exchange or give to your KDF toons to turn in for latinum. They're free, aside the cost of cannibal tribbles to eat the common tribbles to make the carcasses.

Unless you luck into cannibal tribbles doing the contraband search DOFF.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

Be very careful using this, but if you hold down the CTRL key when you right-click and select Salvage or Discard it skips asking you the "are you sure?"

Which means if you have missed a tribble being collected on a jem hadar during the gamma missions one of the first things it'll munch on is ketrecel giving one of those "special" ones that can't be cannibalised.
