Would more grahics RAM in my PC improve the STO graphics?

Greetings.

Just a bit curious. If I were to buy and install a 11GB video card in my tower computer, will the graphics of STO, still have a low-res look?

    I'd say that it is unlikely to achieve worthy result by doing that.

    It totally depends on the rest of your system.

    If you went out and put a $500 graphics card in a 10 year old $300 PC.. then yes, things would still look terrible.

    If the rest of your system is pretty good and it's being held back by your graphics card, then a new card would improve things. Can you post the rest of your current system specs? Processor? how much Ram do you have?

    We would need more information to give you a good answer.
