Flash Sales: A Day Late and A Dollar Short

I play STO a "lot", hours every day and have Never been able to use a flash sale. I now check the "news" often every day. But. Yesterday 8-15-18 I checked your news several times, even after noticing a Bundle Sale was in progress in the C-Store. Nothing was mentioned in your news, until today! My Fleet friends are "What Sale?" I'm not in your time zone, when I start playing you haven't started your work day. When you are finally working and push out these flash sales we have no way of know about them. If we have multiple toons you could push these flash sale to the new "Around Your Galaxy " popup. Just add a small section announcing them. We learn to look for something useful and you win with a higher probability of actually making money from us dedicated players. This is about every flash sale you have had, not just yesterday. 
There are several discussions about these Flash Sales already, which in reality is just the tip of the numbers of players who have missed these sales. I don't know what the current figures are for those that complain and all those that don't and just move on or away from a product or company. It used to be for the 1 that did complain there were 10 silent and not happy customers. I can't imagine what it's like with the internet today, 1/100, 1/1000?

I'd seen this sale at lunchtime yesterday and had planned to look over the packs, then forgot about before I played STO after work. Oops, it's over and 0 zen from me.
Weekend sales give me time to forget, remember, look, watch a youtube video on a ship or ships, figure out which captain would have fun with which new ship, and finally open my wallet.
However, they keep running the flash sales so apparently they are working for Cryptic. Enough other people must be more impulse-driven than me to make the short window profitable.
