Specialist points. Can't spend them.

So I'm unable to spend my points.

I've gave everything a go to try and fix it. But no joy.

Anyone else having this problem

    I remember reading about this some time ago and that it meant that "your skills are invalid" or some such. If I recall correctly, one way to fix this was to do a respec.

    Odd. It's a old TOS toon I just recently leveled up before the gamma thing.

    But it's been broken from gamma I believe

    I'd suggest to wait with respec (even if it allegedly should solve your issue).

    We had it on PC recently - allegedly at the end of the recruitment event as you said and allegedly with a connection to Invalid Skills state and seemingly also a lingering of temporary bonus trait's visual which should have been removed at the end of event.

    However,
    1. It was solved on PC, it seems, around last maintenance time so maybe it will be fixed on PS4 too
    2. Respec is a messy thing - traits allocation, space and ground skills and space and ground unlock may all be reset by a respec without further warning, and
    3. A player who I don't remember his/her name, have a WORKAROUND meanwhile, to press twice on the spec in order to purchase, instead of choosing and then pressing purchase.

    Also note I am not a support staff member, just a (PC) player

    Found the quote for the workaround:
    I've had to double-click on the specialization skill I want on the skill tree from the beginning, rather than single-click to highlight and then clicking purchase.

    @engineerb4#4806 can you please look into this subject as this issue was allegedly fixed around last maintenance's time for PC? asking as it might cause people to do a re-spec just to solve this issue, which, even if free, it's not fun to do,

    and as you helped a lot and was nice and seem to know what's you're doing. I don't know if you work for PS4 too though and anything regarding which fix enters when or where.

    No good deed (ever) goes unpunished :)

    Yea I'll wait till the event is over. Don't fancy having to rebuild all my points

    After logging in today. It says skill retraining required. That message wasn't there when I made this thread couple of days ago. Odd.
