Solid ships and that 12th console slot is quite something. Haven't played around with MW powers much but most seem pretty "meh" with a few that stand out. If you like their design they're absolutely worth it.
I was tempted but I think the fed ones are fugly.
I got the cross-faction pack from the C-Store. They look nice for all factions. I liked having the extra universal console slot and the flexibility this allows unlike other cruisers. Having full power restored after using full impulse is surprisingly useful with no more waiting around for EPS to replenish subsystems. They are fast in sector space. Some miracle worker space powers are alright. Extra subsystem power levels are a tiny boost but every bit helps on the warbirds. The all damage immunity console is great, but the others not so much.
The miracle gimmick is unfortunately not fun to use as the other specialist ships since it's completely random, it's hard to control when spamming buffs, and ends up giving something that's not exactly useful for the moment, so it's definitely my least-liked specialist ship because of that.
I got them to try to build a science cruiser but it didn't work out since the ship ends up fragile having to sacrifice everything to make science powerful enough to be viable, and miracle seating doesn't exactly cater to science unlike intel or temporal which is basically science. I had more success with the Sci Odyssey (sensor analysis) & Jupiter (carrier) for those roles.
Another reason I got them was my only other cruiser warbird was the Vastam and I wanted some variety, and the starship traits are pretty good.
They looked a little squishy to me. I was not sure about the value of Miracle Worker powers on a Raider. If you own one, I would be interested in your opinion of it's performance.
The tac is worth getting for the extending faw duration trait. I roll all my toons through this one at least....i dont use any mw boff powers. Its a very tanky cruiser which hits hard enough for any casual gamer who isnt obsessed with maxdps.

Handles pretty well, and had all the MW powers the big ones. Once I got some better space stuff on it, I can go into it further.

Top ship of its class in the game right now - hands down the best raider, rivaled only by the Miradorn IMO. You have 12 console slots, 90 second transwarp in sector space, MW inspiration mechanic - I agree with the above who said it is random and not easy to use. The Barclay maneuver one is probably the most totally useless, with the +50 all power levels one being best of the 5 possibilities.
The console and trait that come with the ship are only good for sci focused builds, which I don't think work well with a raider but maybe some builds are out there.
im certainly not a casual gamer. I enjoy playing the game and I have lots of different ships. I just think the miracle worker ships are interesting.
I admit it.. I like the look of the Fed Miracle Worker ships. I know a lot of people hate them, I dig it.. I think they have a very.. advanced look to them.

Definitely looks like a cool ship. My build would be a little different, but that's one of the things that make STO cool. Looks like a blast to fly.
Thanks! I thought the soundtrack was fitting
Yes the ship is super fun - not easy to fly though, it's a real challenge to improve this build. The MW powers are great and a relief from the pilot seat that almost every raider in the game seems to have.
Nice vid, music wasn't to my taste, but that's just me. Interesting ship. I'm not a fan of raiders/escorts myself, but I know some who can fly them much better than I can. Including you, obviously.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I got the C-Store bundle... hated them, 12th slot despite. They were fugly, for one, and turn so slow, that you kinda need that 12th console for something with [Turn] in it (and then some).
Maquis Raider I totally love, though. It MW too, but turns like an Escort.

They're definitely slow.. yes. They work great for beam boats, but you could probably find better for anything else. As beam cruisers though, they are extremely potent.
The big hangup for most is the looks. I like them, but I totally get why some people don't like the way they look.
I love the look especially since I combine characteristics of all three into the one I am using right now. and very powerful with the weapons I am using.

I love it. Performs very very well, excellent ship and very versatile.

A recommended ship for sure.
