How do you maximize character's health?

I've noticed several players whose characters have a max health over 1000; I've seeen over 1100 actually. Does anyone know how you increase your total health or capacity for health? I'm at level 65, was at 60 for a long long time, and I've never seen a way to do this. My character is at around 880 max for health. Thanks for the help in advance.

Well, it's hard to find a total, comprehensive list of every single thing that gives you a max hp boost, but aside from the skill tree, you can check out the Command spec (it has a passive hp boost), and the proc from the Threatening Stance ability can greatly increase your hp as well.

Iconian resistance armor is very good for hp.

Short version: stack things that give HP. There's a wide variety of them to choose from.

As well as things that can spike your temporary health as well, such as Phasic Shroud. The highest I got to was around 4.3k, before some things got nerfed with the "balance pass."

Oh yeah, that reminds me. The dudes who got to the later waves in Sompek did so by having massive HP but also massive damage resist and temp HP. One of the things that Sompek does to make it difficult in later stages is to give players healing resistance. This does exactly what it sounds like it does. It makes conventional heals less effective, and if you get to the REALLY hard stages it makes you immune to things like Nanite Health monitor and Medical Tricorder.

there's far too many things to name off the top of our heads that can give HP, but most of the traits/items will tell you whether they give HP or not. A bit of advice I can give, it's not the amount of HP you have that matters as much as it is your ability to maintain it.
