Dual cannons on Cardassian ships?

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered before, but I am confused.
None of the new Cardassian ship stat details in the offical blog state that they can equip dual cannons, not even the Intel Escort. At the same time, the Wiki does say that the Damar class can equip dual cannons.
I'm considering buying the Damar class, but I only want it if it can use dual cannons.
Is there anyone who owns this ship who can confirm or reject the Wiki's claim that the Damar class can use dual cannons?

I just tested this for you.. Readied my Damar, ran to the bank, and equipped a single dual heavy ap cannon on the front... seems to work.0 -

Of course it can fit DHC's.
They likely just forgot to mention it (and, in fact, I don't understand why they bother any more: any Escort/Raider type ship can fit DHC's).

Cardassian Intel Escort — Detapa–Class: Can use Dual cannons, and it even comes with one Dual and one Dual Heavy Spiral Wave Cannons (Mk X common, not upgrade-able) fore. I reclaimed this a bunch of times to try out what they look like.
Cardassian Intel Science Dreadnought — Damar–class: Can use Dual cannons. Comes with one Spiral Wave DC by default.
Cardassian Intel Flight-Deck Cruiser — Ghemor–Class: Can not use Dual cannons.
Note: To get the Mk XII purple upgrade-able and Re-Engineering compatible Spiral Wave Disruptor Cannons cost 45000 Dilithium each.

Honestly I don't do upgrading so I've just been using all Common X Spiral Wave Disruptor Beam Arrays and the Bioneural Warhead in my weapon slots on my Damar.
