Just wondering why I can't seat my specialized officers anywhere on the bridge. None of their abilities are supported in ANY craft, including the Cardassian Intel and Vanguard ships. I can use their abilities on the ground, but that's it. What is the point of specializing them if their space abilities are useless? Are there specific ships I'm obligated to buy to seat them? And is it possible to unspecialize them so I can seat them again?
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

Anniversary ships have a GREAT history of at least being very Diverse and on the RARE occasion even included two Faction based ships - even though it is extremely RARE.
▪ I think during the 2nd Anniversary they gave away a T5 Odyssey Star Cruiser.
╘ Though I believe CSTORE offered a more focused ENG/SCI/TAC variants; but the Event one was just as capable.
▪ Another Anniversary they gave a T5 Dyson SCI Ship, yet again offered variations in CSTORE Dyson 3 Pack.
It would be nice if they offered another T6 Dyson ship in Summer or Future Event. Simply because it at least looks at least a little more Faction based many Star Trek fans know and love.
Still some of the more popular Lockbox/Lobi ships are Alien in fact.
Also you can choose a Primary or Secondary Specalization that's entirely different from the Seating your Ship has. I could use a Command Ship with a few or no Command Abilities slotted, and still choose to use Miracle Worker Specialization for the added healing or BUFFs it provides.
You don't have to have a T6 Ship to gain any of the benefits of Specializations from your primary or secondary specialization at all! In fact 90% of the time I often PREFER using more traditional ENG/SCI/TAC abilities most of the time. Sure the Specialization Seating extends some of the things you can do, yet it does not limit you from receiving ANY of the BUFFS offered by the Specialization TREE.
I think your a little misunderstanding the difference.
