Welcome Back Screen Bug

I keep getting a welcome back (character name) screen every time their is a load or screen refresh. Is there a way to disable this screen from constantly popping?

    I'm getting this as well. It only seems to happen with my Federation and Klingon captains. It doesn't happen when I play as a Romulan.

    Can confirm happening with both toons (Romulan) transitioning to or from space from what I can tell. My new toon didnt have this happen until the toon hit lvl 11

    My current Romulan has only just reached level 10, so that probably explains why I've not seen it while playing as that commander.

    this is for EVERY transition though (to/from story video, to/from starship/ground... darn near everything)

    Sometimes I will have it pop up more than once after closing it.

    Getting this for every screen transition same as magillar above. So irritating, especially after coming back to the game after a long absence.

    This is happening for me on old characters I had from many years ago and on my new characters.

    Just recently started playing again so I wonder if that messed up the trigger on the popup and now its way too overactive.

    I did try to verify files through the launcher but that didn't fix the issue.

    Its been happening to me too, its getting old and annoying now when starting a quest and under fire straight away it does a double or even a triple pop up.

    Its happening every time there is a load screen from a Warp, Cut Scene in middle of a quest where your instantly in Ground/Space combat and almost any screen load aspect.

    in the hour I played today ive had it pop up like 40+ times

    Having the same issue, doesn't matter if it is an old charater or new. It didn't start until the JH update patched in.

    Same here, every single transition and cut-scene completely breaking immersion. The worst is arena missions with waves, every wave introduction results in this screen.

    Also having this issue. Have tried re-verifying and full uninstall, delete all remaining files and clean install. Every single character, every transition and cut-scene. As of now my attempt to return to the game is on hold as while its not technically unplayable, it is absolutely zero fun.
