Started a separate thread to investigate that, so that I don’t derail this one.
I am glad to see that the Spoonhead 3pk Comes with a T5 Galor, It is a nice touch and makes that package much more interesting just in flavor alone as well as admirality.
As a lover of disruptor type weapons, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on those for my main character for a while. This pack might make the difference between me just purchasing the science dread, or the whole thing.
Mostly a KDF player, but my main is a Space Privateer in service of the Empire. Spoils of War.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

The Vangurad Bundle is easily one of the best purchases I have ever made in this game. I thought my lockbox Jemmy and Akira were amazing....holy TRIBBLE these intel ships blow it out of the park. They're up there in DPS with the Kelvin ships, maybe even more so if you spec it right. And PLAYING A CARDASSIAN! Finally after 8 years of bitching since before BETA opened!
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.
Dude, they're brand new. That means they'll be nerfed in like a week. Don't trip over nitpicky details.

I just purchased the Jem'Hadar EV Suit and can't seem to claim additional suits for my Boffs or other toons.
I assumed it was an account unlock, but didn't see any verbiage one way or another. I tried claiming at the console outside Quinns office on ESD, but no luck.
If I'm wrong about this, please set me straight.
Also, the visuals are all screwed up. Depending on what uniform the toon is wearing, portions of EV suit don't display properly - missing top, missing bottom, etc.
This is a HUGE event. We've been demanding playable Cardassians since before BETA. It's going to be a long one, I promise.

Am I wrong about it not being an account unlock? If so, where do I get additional suits?
$6 for one suit is robbery
When the Fed and KDF EV suits first came out, they were 500 Zen each if I remember correctly, and they were character unlocks. Not surprised to see this with the Jem'Hadar EV suit. If we're lucky, it will be added to the Veteran/Lifer rewards in the future.
The store does say that buying it gives you a discounted price on the larger bundle and after buying one the price does indeed drop from 13k down to 11k
Assuming this offer stays after the launch price goes to the regular one and assuming they'll make the price 15k to be inline with others like temporal or romulas then the numbers will be 15k down to 13k
It makes sense to do so as they no doubt lose some sales from folk who buy a starter pack because they can't afford the larger one and then maybe get one or two other ship purchases on top rather than the person knowing they can wait a bit longer and get the bundle.
I'm still hoping that they'll do a jem ship only bundle to mirror the spoonhead one. I've no real interest in playing as one so their ships would mean less value from the big bundle so my current plan is wait for a ship sale and maybe pick up one of the other vanguards like the carrier.
Choice is good, choice without causing future lockouts is better.

I might check if this is the case for the 31st Century Pack, I bought the Chronos, but couldn't afford the whole pack at the time.
As far as I know they've not expanded it to older bundles and I'd be surprised if they added the triple ship bundles into those that can be bought this way.
I was just saying that it would make sense for them to keep this system and not lock players out of the option to pay cryptic more money down the road.
They might be waiting to look at the sales numbers of folk who bought the "toedipper" pack and then upgraded to the "divebomb" bundle.
Probably not the best way of guaging the numbers as a lot of people simply don't or won't have funds by the time the launch offer goes away and will see saving for it as a long term project.
Time will tell but between what they've done here and the recent high value elite starter pack (I'll be buying a 3rd one soon once it lands on console) it does look like there might be a shift in the thinking of the beancounters going on. Possibly because of the recent high profile gamblebox bashing.

Nope. Not account unlock. If you want them for your away team you have to either buy the Vanguard pack or buy them individually.
I think the Gamma Vanguard Starter Pack is a decent enough value to heavily be considered by all for purchasing.
The Gamma Vanguard mega pack, imo, not so much but I certainly understand the appeal of it, I just don't think it offers enough substantial items/services to merit that price & adds too much "fluff" instead but a lot of that depends upon how much a player would utilize of it.
I buyed the full Gamma Vanguard mega pack, and I'm really happy about it.
The Vanguard Carrier ship with full sets from Vanguard and Cardassian sets (from the pack), and normal MkII Purple other gear just make short work with end-phase of The Temporal Front Episode.
Normally I need to work for this mission - the map is full of Na'kuhl (darn it - who thinks the hard to remember correctly names in STO?) ships, which regularly put on invulnerability. Any Zen Store ship with standard gear (for me that's Purple MkII)needs to be carefully piloted and watched shields and HP.
This time (with the Vanguard Carrier) it was - deploy attack ship, deploy some platforms, launch fighters… wait a moment... where is the enemy gone?
… and the battle was finished.
Hey, folks, forgive my inexperience, but could someone confirm for me that if I unlock the Vanguard pack on a non-Jem'Hadar, that I'll still have access to the Vanguard ships on a future Jem'Hadar character? The wording around "only available to Dominion captains" makes me uncertain. Thanks!

They can, any vanguard with a hangar bay and the JHDC

I bought the 2k ship and jem pack and the store has not put a lock on the bigger ship pack.
All that happened was the listing on the 13k pack changed slightly to show it was discounted to 11k.
Interesting, so they are moving in the direction of dynamic prices on the bundle packs.

I mean is this discuss for that pack and other related packs like the Cardassian Intel Bundle Pack?

Can confirm. I bought the Starter pack as well as I was short on Zen and the full vanguard pack is now listed in my c=store at 11k instead of 13.
