So I port over to find the Admiral and they (JHD Away team) are no where to be found... good thing there are Klingons NPC around to help.
Then I need to get to Torp room and a whole lot of bugs in way... where is my JHD away team? still on break a few hundred meters away, smoking I guess, maybe bio?
So I die and respawn, here at last... well better late then never.
So get to room and talk to Fed NPC.
So what does my JHD away team do now... nothing much... just standing around outside room. wont follow or do anything unless I select a mob and tell them to fight it. Course after it dies they go back to doing jack.

Got attacked by about 30 Hur'q.. ended up being pretty fun. I got all but 2 of them before they took me down.
Fun times, but definitely bugged. Hopefully that doesn't happen on every map when using my Jem Officers.
Ah, ok.. that explains it. I just bum rushed the transporter, guess I needed to wait for my Away team.
Lesson learned.. the hard way!
Boff ai that almost nonexistent for interior maps thats been an on going problem for a long time and a map design issue where you have a one way transporter on board a station where two way transit would be needed.
In fact the S&C mission they specifically mention that the transports function as turbolifts.
And yes the Away team was standing on the pad and you can even see the transporter animations/glow/effect on em. But they pulled a fast one and sneak off to look at those Orion chicks.
They really need a summon away team to you function in this game.

That would be nice. The next mission, one away team member was embedded in a wall at the start of the combat portion. Two got stuck on "crossing a bridge" a bit further on. The last got stuck at the next bridge, leaving me to "defend the area" all by myself. Yaaaaay.
Thanks to beligerent boffs I got facerolled by exploding bugs and had to res. Boffs actually behaved on the way back up until they got a sniff of a hostile and simply stopped what they were doing. Slightly annoying that the respawn point requires you to redo the pillar puzzle thing again rather than simply having one just before the defend bit up top.
