Are Yukuwa and Gunboat Frigates usable on any ship with hangar bays?

Are Yukuwa and Gunboat Frigates usable on any ship with hangar bays?

When they listed the stats of these hangar bays, it didn't say the Yukuwas were only usible on Cardassian ships or for the Gunboats only usable on Vanguard ships, so I'm wondering if that was just an over sight or if they can be equipted on any ship with Hangar bays.

    Most frigates are pretty restrictive as to what carriers can use them.

    Such as rommie drones can't be used on their pancake ship and the various gamble box carriers have their frigate pets locked.

    all frigates are ship specific which is why ther is such heartburn with the bug ships

    I don't remember the ship name, but there is one Frigate Hangar bay pets that can be used with any ship that has hangar bays.

    CAllistos are locke to the whale, Brels locked to Voquv Fekli to the fish ship, unless it is a Xindi frigate...

    Xindi frigates show in the shop whether you own the ship, albeit greyed out, but they are still locked to the xindi carrier. At least thats the ones that are tied to the narcine.

    Rommie drones can be used in both the t'laru and scimitar although the latter isn't a carrier they were just give the drone option for the hangar.

    While neither the stats blog or the dev stream confirm either possibility, the only non ship locked frigates in the game are the Shuk-din frigates from the tzenkethi Tzen-tar dreadnought carrier. So I wouldn't count on it. Personally I think it's possible the yukawa might not be ship locked since the cardassian ships' consoles aren't.
