Any news on the Risa event?

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
With all the VIL news, I haven't seen anything about Risa. Does is start at the same time or later? Any theories/predictions on the ship?

    Yea... other than making T6 Risian ships, a Vorgon science ship would make sense. Convert the NPC cruiser into a science vessel. I mean the Krenim Battleship NPC is the playable Krenim Science Vessel after all.

    A T6 Risian Crusier would be great, I would be happy if they kept the same model as the T5 as well.

    I loved the Luxury Cruiser, and am very ready to see Tier 6 versions of Risian ships. Though I'd assume the Corvette would come first.

    I'd love to see a Risan science ship. One of the hats of the Risans seems to be geology and terraforming so I'd love to see a ship based on this theme.

    Probably won't happen though - because to me it's such an obvious choice that there must be other reasons that they've not done it already.

    I ain't jealous. I'm actually very proud of my female Trill. She doesn't have a Barbie figure, but she's still got a beach body.

    Risa... I can't wait to go to risa and have my Jem'Hadar perform the unusual dance in a pair of speedos. Oughta put the fear of God in the Risians...

    As I have said many times before the next Summer event ship is very likely going to be the Vorgon Cruiser as a science ship. Personally I would've preferred a T6 Risian Corvette, but at least I can finish the Vorgon ship set and give the Vorgon science ship to my tetryon using Sci toon.

    Also the fact that KDF and Romulans still kinda lack in the science department in both ships and Admiralty.

    I really wish they'd release Risian style ships for the Risa event. I don't really want another Vorgon ship and even the admiralty card doesn't seem worth it to be honest.

    I wasn't against the Vorgon ships. In fact, they are both pretty awesome ships for freebies. But I never understood why they didn't complete the trinity with Risian ships before moving to the Nandi. I agree some kind of Risian science ship would have been cool.

    It's almost certainly going to be the vorgon cruiser, because they already have the model from the NPC version.

    I've been wondering about the Risian Summer event too. Haven't seen any news on it either. Hey Devs, will we even have the summer event this year? I hope so. The break from fighting is SO nice! I hate that we are always fighting in the game anymore. Not enough pure exploration. But the Risian event brings a nice change of pace.

    As for ships, yeah I'd love to see a T6 Risian vessel. Vorgon vessels are really nice, but the Risian lineage of ships needs some revival too. I love my old t5-U corvette, but an upgraded model would be even cooler.

    I think it's going to be either a Vorgon Cruiser or something Vorlon, maybe? I think I saw science ship mentioned in there. (please, yes!)
    anyway, yeah Risa will be fun. I hope I can come in first place in the triathalon this year. :)
