    New Feature:

    General:
    • Romulan captains can now fly any ship of their chosen faction with the exception of:
      • Chimera/Manticore Heavy Destroyer (All variants)
      • Peghqu'/Duvqu' Heavy Destroyer (All variants)
      • Korath/Qul'poH Temporal Science Vessel (All variants)
      • Wells/Verne Temporal Science Vessel (All variants)
      • Krenn/Chargh'poH Temporal Destroyer (All variants)
      • Mobius/Klein Temporal Destroyer (All variants)
      • Command Assault Cruiser (All variants)
      • NX Escort Refit [T6]
      • Prototype Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]
      • Temporal Heavy Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]
      • Temporal Light Cruiser [T6]
      • D7 Temporal Battlecruiser [T6]
      • D9 Dreadnought Battlecruiser [T6]
      • Durgath Temporal Heavy Dreadnought Battlecruiser [T6]
      • Kelvin Timeline D4x Pilot Bird-of-Prey [T6]
      • Kelvin Timeline Heavy Command Cruiser [T6]
      • Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser [T6]

I take it this isn't something we're supposed to be able to test? None of the T5+ Klingon ships are available from the ship vendor, and I can't even access ships I own, or anything else from the C-store.

This may be the case, but in this instance it makes putting this change on tribble pretty pointless as it can't be tested at all.

The Zen store doesn't have to be available. All they have to do is make the Ship Selection vendor guy in the shipyards actually work like he's supposed to.

It does work like it's supposed to, except the zen ships aren't purchaseable cause zen store is off on tribble, You can buy ships with dilithium at him, and you can get dilithium f rom the testing shop at drozana.

the c-store was once available on tribble before the game went f2p it was available back in 2010-2011, i believe they took it down due to not being able to transfer all purchases over for every single character as it takes up valueble server space which can be used on increasing player capacity. id also like to see it re-implemented back on to tribble. i do hope they continue to bring ship packs out for all factions not just fed-rom.

There are only a small handful of ships that are purchasable via dilithium. These are the same ships Available for Free At Each Major Rank Milestone.

If you Choose the Galaxy with your Captain Level Free Token, you can then go and get the Intrepid or Defiant for Dilithium, but I believe it requires you to have at least claimed one of the free ships First.

A lot of items like c-Store Purchases and Account Unlocks don't transfer over from Holodeck to tribble when you copy a toon, nor are they available as free unlocks on newly created characters on Tribble.

FYI, The Only T6 Ship that can be claimed on Tribble from a ship vendor is the Vet Ship (Manticore for feds) because Vet Status is applied to both servers, and it doesn't rely on C-Store or Reputation unlocks.

You can get T6 Fleet ships. Join a fleet, copy over some fleet modules. That includes things like the Lukari ship. So there are T6 ships available on Tribble. You can also get T6 ships unlocking lockboxes and from L:obi crystals. You get those same way you get the fleet modules.

Leveling a Tribble Fleet is a lot of effort... So sometimes its just easier to run without it.

So... the big announcement that this is available on Tribble is pretty pointless right? Because but they didn't do anything to make the C-Store ships available.
(slow clap) way to waste your time and mine devs, so glad I patched Tribble this morning.
Now I have on rare occasion been wrong :) so please someone tell me if I am missing something?

T6 ships for both factions are available on Tribble. All you have to do is join a fleet. Copy multiple copies of 1 toon on Live with key, fleet module and lockboxes. Start Tribble, bring on a copy, put the items in the shared bank, exit to character select, delete character. Rinse and repeat until you have all the items you want then use them to buy fleet T6 ships and gain access to lockbox ships. Use the Lobi crystals from opening the boxes to get Lobi store T6 ships. So unless it's just to test a particular T6 Zen store ship, the ability to test this new option IS available on Tribble.

I do not understand why this thread has to continue now.

To be fair though, while there ARE T1-T5 faction ships available to the Romulans now, there are no Fleet T6 faction ships on the FED side that are showing as available, and there should be. So there is a bug which I am reporting now in the proper forum.

That is my point, sure the Lobi ships are there, so sure I could buy one of those to try if I want to copy a Toon enough times to build up enough Lobi to buy one. All I expected to be able to do was claim one of my many previously purchased T5-T6 Cstore-Zen Store ships and try it out on my Rom. but they didn't account for (or totally ignored that) so my statement stands its pretty worthless. Also I have never tried to buy a lobi ship with my Romulan, but I assume Romulans have always been able to buy lobi ships right? So again how is T6 Rom cross factions ships available on Tribble then? They still cant buy faction specific ones on Tribble Like the Kelvin Timeline Ship.

Well, I have no trouble checking the Fleet ships, lockbox ships and Lobi store ships. Or I will as soon as Cryptic actually makes them available. As it stands now the fleet ships are not. BTW, you could have found THAT out on any Rommie just by looking in the FLEET and T6 FLEET selection. You didn't have to even buy one to see they're not available. Don't worry I put a bug thread in the appropriate forum and have a couple other Romulans that have noticed the same thing. So the devs are aware of it. AND another BTW, checking through ships you'd also have noticed that non-fleet ships like cruisers, tactical and science HAVE been made available T1-T5 for dilithium.

When is the NVidia graphics card issue going to be fixed here on Tribble? I think it has mostly been corrected on Holodeck, and I can log in there with no problem after the 5-11-2018 NVidia graphics card patch. As an LTS, I'd love to be able to come onto Tribble to see the new content for Victory Is Life, but I get a DXGI_Unsupported_Device error message and then the Cryptic error screen comes up.

NO, THEY ARE NOT! ONLY T1-T4. T5 IS STILL LOCKED TO ROMULANS, NOT EVEN VISIBLE!

So you purchased the tactical, cruisers and science vessels available for sale for dilithium and you can't?

I just logged in my Fed aligned Romulan Science officer, went to ESD, purchased and equipped the following ships:

    Light Cruiser
    Cruiser
    Escort
    Science Vessel

So perhaps you have other issues you need to report.

That's a negative. I don't think they've put the fix on Tribble yet that they did for Holodeck. I have also gone through and reinstalled my video card drivers 3x, to no avail. Holodeck and Redshirt work, but Tribble does not. I get the "DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED" error after a short screen-to-black flicker.

I must apologize for earlier as I said it was an "unsupported device" error, but rather it's an "error unsupported".

I hate to say it, but I must admit that I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to play any of this before it hits Holodeck...

I know these are silly questions, but did you restart your laptop after you installed the drivers? And then did you start the Launcher in 'Safe-Mode' to remove any saved settings?

I would open your STO Files and delete the following files.
    • Star Trek Online/playtest/localdata/Gameprefs.pref
    • Star Trek Online/playtest/localdata/Fxprefs.pref

This should wipe the display settings for the tribble client. Hopefully that will fix whatever trouble you are having.

Primar13, I will give that a try and let ya know. As it stands, Holodeck and Redshirt work like a charm. It's just Tribble that's not working. I put a post in the Tribble - Bug Reports about the Direct 3D crash where I put my basic system info, but basically my video card is an NVidia GeForce 9800 GT, with the latest driver set 342.01 from the NVidia website.

And, Leemwatson, yes, I did restart my PC each time I reinstalled my drivers.

Primar13, I am doing a force verify with safe mode selected. If that does not work, I will delete the gameprefs file. I don't have the fxprefs file in my playtest/localdata folder.

Update: Force verify + safe mode did not work. Will try your suggestion and update here once I give it a try.

Update: Deleting the gameprefs file in the playtest folder did not work either. For good measure, I tried to load in safe mode.
