Fleet account characters promote help

I'm leader of a fleet can't promote one my 7 characters goes to anthor character i kick all but the one i want to promote but it error wont promote I've heard about the first part as a bug but not the single character i can'promote that one she's level 60 and my newes character thanks if anyone knows why

    Just a heads up, if this turns out to be a bug I will be moving this thread to the appropriate bug reporting forum as bug reporting isn't allowed in the general discussion area. Reason being it prevents the devs from seeing things quickly and getting things solved that much faster. With that said, there are a few questions I would ask you first.

    Is there a fleet leader that is in the process of a demotion and that demotion clock counting down? If so then that locks out the ability to promote further toons to the leader rank until that demotion is completed from what I remember. Also if you're trying to promote to leader rank, then the toon you're using to do the promotions cannot be a Provisional Fleet Leader rank either. If they are provisional they're not technically a full leader yet so as such they can't promote to leader rank. Setting aside custom player created rules about ranks for a moment, any level of character can hold any rank in a fleet as far as the system is concerned as long as they are given that rank. If for example I wanted to promote my new level 6 toon to fleet leader rank, then by every right I can do so as long as the above conditions are met.

    Yes my leader is provision admiral i demoted myself somehow trying promote tina the character in question but i was full leader when happened and i haven't tried again and wont for 11 more days when i become full leader again just trying to get some information on the error to promote See if its bug or not new to the fleet stuff thought maybe she being new maybe i couldn't thanks

    It's not a bug. Wait till your provisional period is over as it this has built in limitations in itself.
