Uninstalling STO?

Hi all,

Thankyou for any feed back,my pc keeps crashing so im thinking if i uninstall i get rid of a load of unwanted data, will my characters and gear stay intact?. If i uninstall and re-install will my characters gear be ok?

    All data is stored on cryptics servers so will be intact later, so you'll be fine.
    Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

    The one thing you may want to back up is the screenshot folder which has all of your saved costumes. Assuming you saved any of the costumes you created for your characters and Boffs.

    It should be located in the following directory of whatever drive the game has been installed to.

    Star Trek Online\en\Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots
