STO/PWE/CS Contests

Hey folks,

I absolutely love STO. I've been an avid player for years. However one thing that really irritates me to no end is when [PWE/CS] run these big competitions, that, unless you are in the US (and in a lot of cases Canada and/or the EU) the rest of the world gets snubbed & forgotten.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why they may or may not be able to offer the prizes globally (whether that is due to legalities or whatever), but it just seems that [PWE/CS] forgets that there are players outside of those territories.

It won't stop me from playing STO but it is disappointing when they don't even offer an alternative for those who can't enter the big contests. (For example, the Star Trek: The Cruise III contest currently being run, or the lifetime subscription/gaming router competition run a little while ago (which was only available to US residents)).

    OP, this was discussed the other day, and closed by a moderator. They have their reasons, legal or otherwise, and they do hold competitions in other territories.
