Cros Faction

I was just wondering if there is any talk of implementing cross faction grouping/socialising, I find myself loving the KDF but missing my federation fleet who are extremely active and friendly instead of pretty much a non existent social KDF side.

    You can join general chat channels, but as far as I know there are no plans to allow people to join fleet chat for fleets they are not a part of (with that character).

    It might seem to make sense to let KDF players join Fed fleets, but then all the holdings would look wrong and some of the gear would not make sense. No phaser rifles for you!

    [Mod Hat] Cross-faction chat already exists: general and user-generated chat channels are either public or work by account names, rather than character faction allegiance. Cross-faction teaming and fleets will never happen due to technical limitations, per Cryptic: the engine can't do it without significant recoding. [/Mod Hat]

    For Fleets, you create a new channel, then get everyone to use that channel and not the standard Fleet channel.
