if someone gives negative feedback and/or finds flaws in your game design, you simply close a thread and delete everything?
sounds like censorship to me^^
in my closed thread, i explained what happened!
and i explained, what i did and how the game treated me!
the only explanation is, that the game engine just counts someone's damage and not if the player is actually participating in the match.
so IMO this is an issue, because if the gap between some vets with +100k dps (who oneshots everything) and new players is too big, the game "punishes" the newbie with a 2h afk-penalty - even if he tried to participate!

The AFK penalty is built around a certain amount of damage done.
Not to mention lag can stuff you as well.
The moderators are just community moderators that are not Cryptic Employees. I'm just telling you this so you know that the company isn't actually censoring anything, if your thread was closed it was by a moderator that is not an employee of Cryptic Studios.
I didn't see your thread, but honestly.. the moderation here is very heavy handed. They often close threads if there is even a hint of any type of hostility so just expect that to continue. This thread will be closed because questioning moderation is not allowed.
The only part that bothers me is we have one mod that likes to get in the last word and then lock the thread. That's a poor practice. Otherwise they're usually fair if not a little overly sensitive. You just have to be careful how you word things or they'll hit the big red moderation button.
[Edit] Never mind, just saw your thread.. even though it's modded out, even the title is insulting. Try re-posting your discussion without throwing a tantrum and they'll likely let it go.
hey, thx for some clarification and kind words!
i didn't expect the word "fail" to be insulting... i read some other "words" in certain threads here and those threads are still open.
do you think reddit would have better chances being read by the devs then?
I'm not really sure.. as I said before, I would like to see them ease up a bit.
And yes.. if you want the actual staff to read the feedback, Reddit is your best and pretty much only option.
The game developers do not interact with the community on their 'official forums,' it's absolutely bat TRIBBLE crazy.
Truth is... the estimated damage threshold is only 1%.... in 5-man content.
My character Tsin'xing
no, my ship was just slower than the rest^^ when i got into 10km range, the borg ships where about to explode.
the rest of the team already changed their course and headed to the next group - and i had no chance to catch up with my slow turn rate
i wanted to fight in a group, because i was afraid being blown up alone!
next time, i'll engage a group of enemies on my own^^
